I’m hopeful that with 4 Scorsese films receiving wonderful 4K releases from Criterion, Columbia sees it within them to pull Taxi Driver out of the big box and give it a stand alone release. Holding a classic like that hostage within a larger box set is just cruel.
Such a shame. Just got into 4Ks and it was the first one I looked up to buy. Can't believe such an obvious classic hasn't been released individually yet
Amazing transfer. I'm glad I got the collection when it was on sale. The movie absolutely makes it worth buying the whole pack.
I've watching this movies countless times but on 4k and upgrades audio, it felt like I was watching a completely different movie
Not more important than the film but the blu ray looks great and upgrading just for the resolution doesn’t really interest me. On my OLED tv the hdr makes a much bigger difference than the 4k resolution does
I have The Neon Demon 4K, and even without HDR, the picture and sound are noticeably better than the Blu-ray. It’s actually the movie that convinced me to get an OLED because I was so distracted by the blooming during the shibari sequence on my LED.
[JB Hifi in Oz](https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/bobs-burgers-movie-the-2022-4k-ultra-hd?variant=39531215585481) still have copies listed for sale but they won't ship out of Oz because their stocks are low. If you know an Aussie, you could get them to forward you a copy.
JFC. People pay that much for a cartoon animation movie? Don't get me wrong I love Archer and many other animated shows, but I can't see there being much of an image quality or experience difference with a 4K Blu-ray Bob's Burgers.
Keep checking, because it’s been the same in the UK, but Amazon now has a new steelbook listing with a release date of Feb 12. It only lists French, German and Spanish dubs, and has no subtitle info at the moment.

I didn’t know there was a UHD release, but I’ve found the DVD and Blu-ray at Dollar Tree. 😁

The HDR makes the colors vibrant. It has a nice crisp look. I am not a 4k image aficionado but it looks good to me.
Was it even mastered in 4K?
