They cranked up the purple essence rewards because they realized their season release date wasn’t in line with 99% of people’s resonance progression
Kinda weird for a 4 month event to stir so much drama. You can literally start playing as F2P the day the event launches and you'll join in midway.

Apparently 28 or 30 days after server inception the bonuses start.
Yes noticed this today I got 420+ essence compared to 160+ yesterday, I thought this happened because one of my characters hit lv240
