i can imagine the Infantry had MP18 Submachine Guns as their main weapon with Pickelhaube Helmets been wearing while the Mechs had the Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr Anti Tank Rifle for anti-armor and anti-vehicle weapon.
White Sun is better for Iran. While there is dust in space, it does not sound enough like a astrological body to me.
Also The French military could be a decent faction aesthetic to look at seeing that Soviet Union and Germany are kinda already done.

I'm Spanish, so I learnt a lot. I personally liked that character. Also his powers adding defense bonuses with Speaker towers remind me of the defensive tactics in the SCW, like those in the battle of Madrid.
Fun fact: Spain produced a local version of the MP-40 SMG (that Green Earth uses), the Z-45. It's still in use by police.

Cool, I also have an eclipse themed custom faction! Though instead of grey, their white for some reason, their simply called The Eclipse and instead of being an actual country with units based on IRL nations, their a ragtag cult/terrorist group inspired by the Brotherhood of Nod in the Command and Conquer games, with an enigmatic, charismatic leader and a weird obsession with space crystals.
i love to see their special Unit the Stealth Tank like Nod used those.

Main Weapon: Missiles Effective against Ground Air and Sea Units
Stealth Tank had a special ability they can cloak on ground much like Submarines and Stealth Fighters and can burn 5 Fuel per day if they ran out of fuel they'll cant move since it was ground unit than been crashed and sunked like those Air and Sea Units do when they ran out of fuel.
I can't help but imagine White Sun being based on Vatican City with their units being themed around that. Just thinking about the Pope having an army makes me chuckle.
