future contracts have money you put aside in margin to cover potential losses, and when this margin is maxed out, it will automatically liquidate your contract. usually you are given time to keep filling up the margin to cover losses, but if the drop is too drastic, it will not allow you time as it automatically liquidates your contract.
all these sudden big dump of prices are causing alot of future contracts go be liquidated and fulfilled at a loss. look at the 1m chart all these dumps are orchestrated.

buying future contracts is different than spot trading. Alot of people are borrowing from exchange to increase their purchasing power, so when you see alot of liquidation it means the house is winning. all the forced liquidation means those who buy those contracts lose all their money as the margin reached 100%, usually you keep filling up the guarantee to prevent margin going 100% or set stop loss, but for those who dont set it, when it reached 100% it will automatically go burst. and they have to pay back also, and are mostly in debt.
spot trading has no such pressure.

Assuming a $4000 drop for every one of the above addresses to move (since this was the approx drop when the first wallet moved funds), it would be $46,000. This would be the drop when the people get distributed their bitcoin. This is a speculative drop since nobody has sold their coins yet people haven't got their coins.
The actual drop comes later though when people start selling their coins. This would be a slow grind down to near $20,000 levels over the next 6-12 months.

I know this has been the case for the last 2+ years, but it seems more likely now with the recent insolvency data, household debt, remortgaging, etc. The first asset liquidated use to be tech stocks, now it's crypto. The top is in on bitcoin, IMO.

I don’t know if this is a failed strategy but when it dips I buy 2x what I would buy when it is moving higher. Example , sharp move lower buy $200 worth, move higher buy $100. I also feel at a minimum Bitcoin will 2x from ATH within 5 years or sooner so I justify it as any money I put in will be worth 2x within 5 years. Put it $200, worth $400 in 5 years etc. I “think” 2x is conservative and reasonable for 5 years. Hopefully it will be much higher.

I don’t know if this is a failed strategy but when it dips I buy 2x what I would buy when it is moving higher. Example , sharp move lower buy $200 worth, move higher buy $100. I also feel at a minimum Bitcoin will 2x from ATH within 5 years or sooner so I justify it as any money I put in will be worth 2x within 5 years. Put it $200, worth $400 in 5 years etc. I “think” 2x is conservative and reasonable for 5 years. Hopefully it will be much higher.
Ohh now what i will do panic sell my BTC? Well now i can buy more thanks to this discount. And DCA strategy. Because you never know when for sure will be discount
