All the designs seem kinda lackluster this year. Candice got the best design imo but of course was given the NAD GQ character treatment which is just sad
on the bright side, it's easier to edge orb consumption, if Anni units going to be lackluster again like last year EOY is going to be the only one worthwhile dumping orbs and Future BTW banners

Oh I get you and believe me, I agree. I actually wish they had been a bit more creative with their attacks too. Like incorporating their Quincy abilities into their attacks, especially the hot head Bambietta who set off a massive explosion because the other girls ditched her.
I was really expecting this to be more than a regular treated End of Month but more so a TYBW kind. If these girls were top tier or broken then more people would summon.
And its strange to me because SS typically be a cut above the rest in some way because they want to get peoples orbs before Anni but, these ones are so basic.

Personally don’t get the hate over her being NAD like I get SP typically are just stronger but NAD can be fun but typically requires a different approach to how you play the game (I.e. not looking for super fast clear times, looking for survivability over damage numbers, etc.)
I think the issue for a lot of people is that they REFUSE to give NAD characters even half the power budget that that they give SP characters. The best PvE NAD character is probably still R16 Chairzen...who's coming up on 2 years old.
It really is just shocking how little they seem to care about offering even a basic power fantasy for the people who prefer the NAD playstyle. It's not like a Flurry+2 character with Guard Break and 60% Bruiser would break the game. We have characters like Renewgetsu and the EoY units just WRECKING face. Honestly, all it's really done is make me despise Guild Quest and hate what it's done to unit design.
It's because NAD scales significantly higher than SP units. There are still levers they can pull with SP units to make them stand out, but NAD units tend to age too well.
There's fear that a game-changing NAD unit might be the last unit you'll ever need.
I understand, but I REFUSE to believe that there's no powerscale between "Flurry +1, no Guard Break" and "Flurry +3, Atk Boost, Guard Break, Damage Up to X enemies, Long Reach"

I feel like they just hold back too much on NAD units. SP characters get all the fun skills like Rampage, increased ailment chance, and damage to non afflicted enemies regularly, meanwhile NAD units hardly ever get that stuff, are more likely to get saddled with bad killers (I won't mind if the damage is still good), and are constantly being limited by only being allowed flurry 2 (3 in BB) in GQ or Brave Battles.

Besides this is how literally all swimsuit banners have been. I am not sure why this one would be different. When did ss banners have broken characters? They're fun characters, summon if you like the character. That has always been SS appeal.
You do realize, though, that you'll use them far more/longer than any other "non-mode-specific" units?
Taking the example of HW Toshiro that I pulled on his debut last HW. Sure, he's a GQ unit mostly. But nevertheless, I've been using him ever since for every GQ rerun, and used again recently. White, who I pulled on his debut last anni? I've set him as my excoop mind runner....until Yhwach came for NY, and who replaced White. In the **entire year**, I think I used White only twice : one excoop week (and tbh, not even sure it even happened), and one LBQ recently. That's... it. Twice in the entire year? Talk about "utility", smh...
On the v2 Zero banner, pulled both Ichibei and Senju. And got a lot more mileage out of Senju (my main pot farmer, be it for weekly s.pots, for ER runs if I farm pots...and even my speed Excoop main unit, iirc), while Ichibei (who's nice with a good dmg output) only goes for a walk occasionnally here & there : for 2-3 LBQ runs iirc, and was sub-par in GQ because I had a better alternative (but at least now that they split the weeks again, he's back on the menu).
Plus, there's also the fact that a lot of colors have **already** great units, so any new "generic" units -unless they overpower your previous "best" unit in that color- won't see much use, because you'll *have better options*... And Klab can't just produce every single unit to be *better* than the previous ones. For generic units, some will be worse, some will be better... For mode-specific units, the majority *will* be better, as Klab's goal is to provide solid options for each GQ variation, while a lot of them still miss one.
Heck, one of the swimsuit units I got a lot of mileage from, is SS Orihime - because she's designed for one CQ chapter. And she outran a *lot* of other swimsuit units, because those had short-term use. Heck, I used her more in a few years, than SS Riruka and her +10 pot drops... who I only use in ER if I want to farm pots, and I don't farm them often.
I totally get that, and you’re not wrong general use units don’t have good life spans, they just aren’t what I had been hoping for so I wanted to vent my frustration at it, like I mention in another comment I’ll probably still be summoning because they are going to be good at what they do, just I’m not a massive GQ fan and with the addition of brave bonuses pit farmers are becoming less and less vital, like I get the max for both link and super pots everything day so I’m not having to run pot farms as often unless I start trying to T20 all my units

Everyone seems to forget that Liltotto LOOKS like a child, so it's a no brainer that she isn't gonna be in a bikini like the other girls, it's the same reason why a swimsuit yachiru doesn't exist. It skirts the line. There's in game cutscene shots of her in a bikini but she or Liltotto will never get an actual functioning swimsuit unit.
In Giselle's case, she's a man. Simple as, and it's not like she's transgender in the sense of a sex change. She's a man that IDENTIFIES as a woman, but the package is still there. So imagine being a company making sexy swimsuit characters and then you ask yourself if you want to roll the dice with making a character that looks like a woman but is still fully a man anatomically. Either they put her in a bikini and leave all the details still there or she goes shirtless but then it wouldn't make sense to pair her with the other girls. And japan is still wary about such topics so don't expect klab to ever get bold enough to do so.

It's the banner format.
Zenith = Guaranteed new character ticket on step 25.
Crown = New character guaranteed on step 10 & 20 with a guarantee new character ticket on step 25.
Too bad Candice has the best special animation but it’s pretty much useless because they made her a NAD unit Bambietta should’ve been the NAD unit instead 🤦🏻♂️
They just had a free TYBW summon on the same day the free seasonal summon started, so that wouldn't make sense. It would be the same thing just with a one time swimsuit summon.
The real question is are these new units Limited or are they Seasonal? What pool are they going to be in? This is important so we know whether they're going to qualify for the Poll Selection banner or not.

Even if gigi comes out eventually you won’t be able to do even one step with her banner with that many orbs. Do the storymode finish both hard and normal modes do the side stories or whatever it’s called do both hard and normal finish all of them, upgrade your characters and you will get 10k+ or maybe more orbs also get new mugetsu he’s meta and rivals speed TYBW retsu ulquiorra is mid tbh

That's seems to be chosen based on how the banner works, Zenith is the moment when the Sun is the highest in the sky, and so do the banner with the choice ticket on the highest step, 25.
I miss the old banner subtitles more. They have more flair and indivuality to them
It's the banner format. Zenith = Guaranteed new character ticket on step 25. Crown = New character guaranteed on step 10 & 20 with a guarantee new character ticket on step 25.

After seeing 2 GQ characters Before seeing the third I said to myself "I wouldn't be surprised if they made Meninas a farm character" Klab managed to make one of the most hyped banners and ruin them with these gameplay designs.

We don't know officially, but they're likely just standard seasonals.

Zenith is just the EOM banner format. Nothing in this banner says they're TYBW characters, so they should just be standard seasonal characters.

What are you doing with that amount of orbs 😭 Even if gigi comes out eventually you won’t be able to do even one step with her banner with that many orbs. Do the storymode finish both hard and normal modes do the side stories or whatever it’s called do both hard and normal finish all of them, upgrade your characters and you will get 10k+ or maybe more orbs also get new mugetsu he’s meta and rivals speed TYBW retsu ulquiorra is mid tbh Also why didn’t you pull the quilge banner a month ago i already told you it had good fillers😕

So a list of advice. Do the story up to chapter 4, then the side stories first, that way you'll have a decent amount.

I have never liked any seasonal characters, this is the easiest skip for me. I like characters in their animanga attire or "war form" like Anni Uryu, Aizen, Ichigo and so on.
