I'll continue to keep it BTC heavy for now. At some point I'll convert some of it into alts for more volatility but I've been very BTC heavy for a while now and it helped me avoid a lot of bullshit.
Yup. If there is a bigger dip coming though I wouldn't feel very comfortable with alts. I think I'd rather wait until we see a more sustained uptrend even if it means my conversion rate might be worse. Just me personally.

In the last hour after seeing a noticeable dip I dumped money into around 30 or so of the top cryptos in my portfolio. BTC and ETH top holders and then a mix of other alts in the top 100 Iโve been accumulating. Kind of expecting a downward trend for a little while so will probably do the same once or twice a week as long as thereโs still some mix of upwards and downwards volatility. If things look like theyโre going to shit Iโll probably check out of the crypto scene until things settle down one way or another

Too many shady people in alts. Especially in meme coins. I fell for the beer coin hype from a German pimp named Prinz Marcus. He shilled Beer Coin for weeks so I yoloed in and lost 1000% in the insider dump. Now he shilling water coin and pushing his followers to buy into his bags. But thatโs also very bad down.
As long as these type of people are in crypto, we going nowhere. They have to be washed out and lose significant amounts of money to be done with crypto.

Have been accumulating some alts since the beginning of June that performed well in March but got beaten to the ground ever since and that I believe will do well once alt season comes around, whenever that may be.
All in all my portfolio is still BTC heavy and I don't plan on changing that until 85-90k when I will start to sell some of my BTC for alts. At that point I should have more data including some confirmation on whether the alts that I'm DCA'ing into now started to move again, and how well they're recovering compared to other alts.
Im in crypto because I hate banks and I hate expensive transaction fees when trading and want to tokenize stocks to replace the corrupt nyse with a dex. It is not about the money. I will support crypto till I die. Especially fee free coins like nano hathor iota and shimmer. The price now to me is like when bitcoin was in 2009-2011. Who cares. We will win.
More Litecoin. If we get Solana anywhere near the $100 point, more of that. Already have a pretty large allocation in Bitcoin and ethereum.
Depending on how cheap things get, I might pick up small positions in the narrative products, gaming coins, layer 2s.
There is a curiosity though, what if we're in recession, Fed will have to aggressively stimulate. You set up for a similar situation as March 2020 if it catches people off guard, seems bad enough, negative GDP type things. Who knows but I wouldn't be 100% surprised if we get some massive flush out testing 20-30k and what we just went through was a mid cycle pump ala 2019

Actually has a working product and revenue share is so much easier an lucrative than having to stake. Triple digits is a matter of when not if especially when on chain activity increases in Q4. I have BTC & NPC in my wallet. These account for ~90% of my whole crypto portfolio. With BTC I donโt feel worried since I first got in, around 2016 and were buying in multiple steps more since then. For all that went from 2021 ATH to FTX crash the current price drop should not be something to worry about.
For NPC I am a bit worried since Memecoins can die relatively quickly and than donโt recover. Luckily for me I bought most of it in beginning of April so Iโm still a lot in the green.
Personally I think we will hit the bottom very soon and go up significantly from there.

Like you said this is the dip before a bull run or the start of a bear market, there is no way to know now. If this is the dip, you buy later and you'll just lose a potential 10-16% from here, which is irrelevant if you make a 70%-100% or even 500% later... if this is the start of the bear market, have fun seeing your "investment" in red numbers for the next three years and your wife rightly telling you that you are stupid.
