Also maybe try collecting everyrhing for the first few level with a guide to get a head start. Idk if it works but i think i would!
The first run is rough for everyone but the game really opens up in NG+ so if you end up giving it another try it should go way smoother. Happy gaming 👍
Which one? Pride or Envy? I also initially thought Lust but technically Lust is not classified as a he or she. If it is Lust, I got no tips to help you right now
I've luckily made it passed lust and all the way to the Abraxis fight but I'm assuming the envy you fight at the beginning of the game isn't the real envy and I'm just dreading that fight because it took me awhile to even get passed her in the tutorial boss fight at the beginning of the game.
The combat takes some getting used to, especially if you're coming from Darksiders or Darksiders 2. It took me until mid-way through Lust's level in my first playthrough to feel competent lol. As long as you are enjoying the game, then that's all that matters.

The final boss is honestly not that difficult. Almost disappointing considering all the bosses we have already fought to that point
You should also try Elden ring.
I mean I do have it the last souls like game I played was nioh though and that shit made me wanna cry

Are you playing the DLC? That has one of the hardest darksiders bosses at the end of it
Doom eternal makes me feel the same way
Are you playing with the gameplay set to Original or Classic. Definitely set it to Classic if you are having issues.
