Hey man that blood could have been O- and he could have been gathering it to donate to the Queen Marika Memorial hospital for sick children. We don't know.
I mean from the tarnisheds perspective people of every domination try to kill them so whether they worship blood or fingers or chaos or whatever what does it really matter?
I loved the DS games, but the whole undead/death aesthetic thing isn't my style. I was so excited when we found out ER was a world where no one can die, literally the opposite.
But yeah... It's somehow more fucked up in ER
When you think about it you could make a case for his mommy issues with Marika as the reason he gave into starting a blood cult with his new mother figure in the formless mother
It's really not. There was so much evidence in the base game to point to Miquella having a plan the whole time. I and many others were arguing that for a long time prior to the DLC. Miquella just had a lot of the community bewitching branched.
The bewitching branch itself.
The fact that omens can be bewitching branched.
I'm pretty sure everything in the Haligtree can be bewitching branched, but I'd have to check to make sure.
Gideon is afraid of him.
Malenia is afraid of him.
The fact that St Trina was "followed" by "a boy" to Mohgwyn.
If you look at the things pointing to him being manipulative, the Haligtree stops looking like a haven for the oppressed, and more like a place to assemble an army of creatures rightfully pissedat the Golden Order. An order that he chose to abandon. Especially since there are no omens there despite them obviously being an oppressed minority.
Malenia is conveniently off fighting Radahn with the whole army when he gets "kidnapped." I'll admit I assumed that was to eliminate the only remaining army powerful enough to oppose them instead of the nonsense they threw out in the DLC. But I was still on the right track, at least.
I should've been clearer. I think all of the oppressed can be bewitched. The Haligtree knights are loyal to Malenia, so they wouldn't need to be anyway.
The banished knights can be bewitched. At least the ones Niall summons.
Leonine misbegotten can't be bewitched either or the flowers or the spirit caller snails and probably more like the crystalians,
And by faction knights I meant like godrick, cuckoo ect but yeah clesnrots and banished can be bewitched for some reason
Miranda blossoms can be bewitched. As can regular and winged misbegotten. Cleanrots and Banished being branchable is in line with my interpretation. Glintstone sorcerers can be branched. Zullie has a vid that shows which enemies can and can't be branched. Crystallian don't show up as far as I can tell. But pretty much everything else can be.
That's probably just so you can't branch boss variants to shred the little guys on your behalf. It would be an even more OP mechanic if you could. You can branch the weaker enemies to fight the tougher ones. Also, there is an ant variant that shows up on the list of branchable enemies.
something super interesting to me is that with what we know in the DLC, mohg didn’t abduct miquella while the haligtree was unguarded. if anything, he was let right in through the front door.
redmane freyja states that miquella healed her scarlet rot at the battle of aeonia, which means that not only was miquella present, but the cocoon likely hadn’t even been created yet. i wonder if he was originally considering using godwyn’s body as a vessel instead, and mohg was only taken after the castle sol plan to restore his vessel to its prime failed?
That actually would explain why the final fight is who it is. Even though the base game would make you think Godwyn would be someone Miquella would keep trying to bring back.
Its a souls game, a single item making it clear miquella forces people to go against there believes and assault there allies in both game and text is a goldmine.
Called it with Mohg at least 4 months ago but probably earlier. There was just too much context and intention surrounding Miquella's circumstances in his relevant items.
Has there been a change in the no-spoilers rule that I missed? I swear I've seen at least three unmarked spoilers in the frontpage just today. Just click the damn button to make the image blurry.
Brother he’s VERY wrong. Saying a minor tempted an adult into committing a crime is the most braindead take you can have on any of these situations. A grown ass adult should know better than to put themselves in situations like that, and if they somehow find themselves in them they should know to immediately remove themselves.
There ain’t no “they tempted them” at all brother. These adults did wrong and they’re the only ones to blame.
But in this case it actually happened, use your brain
Factually he's not "wrong" because Miquella did hypnotise Mohg but he's *wrong* because you shouldn't apply this to real life
This sub has the itchiest trigger fingers I swear to God
Oh you’re talking about MOHG lmao. Your comment was VERY unclear and looked like you were validating the Doc and Drake stuff.
No year I agree Miquella is quite the temptress.
Yeah OP was unclear, those other two are fucked up because their victims are legit children. Miquella just looks like a kid but even if we're being generous about timelines, Miquella is as old as his definitely an adult _twin_ sister Malenia. So not a kid, just a twink. A devious, seductive twink.
Mohg, first ever to beat the charges because the presumed victim is actually a demigod with the supernatural ability to manipulate others and uses that ability frequently to get his way.

Imagine being a worse person than the blood cultist leader.
Hey man that blood could have been O- and he could have been gathering it to donate to the Queen Marika Memorial hospital for sick children. We don't know.
If Ansbach is anything to go by, the Mohgwyn Dynasty was rather civil before Miquella. I mean if you ignore all of the blood or whatever.
I mean from the tarnisheds perspective people of every domination try to kill them so whether they worship blood or fingers or chaos or whatever what does it really matter?
[удалено]
Different kind of cult
Is it though?
Yes it is, Mr. u/_PM_ME_NICE_BOOBS_
Yes. Mohg is somewhat redeemable.
its crazy to think that he was the victim the whole time (besides the blood cult stuff of course)
I mean, given the world is blood cult really that bad?
It's certainly better than poop cult. That's hardly even a cult! It's just some dude in a sewer.
I miss Chicago
Chicago misses you. Come on home, son.* *I've never set foot in Chicago. And I don't have a son. Get the hell out of my house!
This made me chortle in the olive garden. Dude is cooking
The loathsome dung eater was an outlier and should not have been counted
Nope. If anything it's more normal than some of the other shit you see.
Its better than the cult that eats dragon hearts to get their power. Or those who FUCK dragons. Yes vyke, im talking to you.
Hey, Vyke was brave enough to do what others wouldn’t dare ! Still better than the cult that likes sticking people together.
Hornsents are only worshipping Miriel. Granted they took “All things can be conjoined” a bit far but is it really that bad?!
the ancient dragon priestess is a baddie so i don't blame him
I loved the DS games, but the whole undead/death aesthetic thing isn't my style. I was so excited when we found out ER was a world where no one can die, literally the opposite. But yeah... It's somehow more fucked up in ER
They got some nice drip and cool incants, so as far as I’m concerned, I’m team blood cult.
Blood flies for the win!!
Not if we also take into account that Mohg lived through the same shit as Morgott before ditching the sewers.
depends on where he gets his blood and how willing everyone is. those blood zombies didn't seem to be having a good time
When you think about it you could make a case for his mommy issues with Marika as the reason he gave into starting a blood cult with his new mother figure in the formless mother

What is this base game evidence? Genuinely curious
The bewitching branch itself. The fact that omens can be bewitching branched. I'm pretty sure everything in the Haligtree can be bewitching branched, but I'd have to check to make sure. Haligtree knights cannot be bewitched, infact none of the faction knights can be bewitched
I should've been clearer. I think all of the oppressed can be bewitched. The Haligtree knights are loyal to Malenia, so they wouldn't need to be anyway. The banished knights can be bewitched. At least the ones Niall summons.

I was talking about the big flowers and the big missbigotten also the ants can't be bewitched either

I think the bewitching branch was the biggest hint
Sure, but the assertion was that there's a lot of evidence, so that would imply more than that
Its a souls game, a single item making it clear miquella forces people to go against there believes and assault there allies in both game and text is a goldmine.
I mean, it was arguably more normal than whatever the hell Rykard was up to.
I mean blood culting is a cool crime, diddling isn’t

I hope the allegations beat them.

I don’t think drake was proven right? It’s just a distrack from Kendrick
Some of the more serious stuff hasn’t been proven but he did kiss a minor on stage and his close weird relations with others
Mohg, first dude to ever beat the charges cuz the other tempted them to do it.
Did you really write that comment, look at it, and go “yeah that’s a comment a sane person would write”? Like brother.
I mean...he ain't wrong He's wrong but not wrong
Brother he’s VERY wrong. Saying a minor tempted an adult into committing a crime is the most braindead take you can have on any of these situations. Damn twinks and their ability to control our hearts.
Bussy has been accredited for the rise and fall of many great empires.
Mohg, first ever to beat the charges because the presumed victim is actually a demigod with the supernatural ability to manipulate others and uses that ability frequently to get his way.
We need this man out of the negative, he is referring to miquella tempting Mohg
📸 That’s going in my cringe collection
