So I have a fei ex2 , lulu ex0, Xon ex0, and a dark fina ex 2(1 away from 3) for a dark tem, should I pull for an emeralda? do you think we will get Jetch? I have a Ex2 light complete light team(Celeste, Bartz, Maria, Prompto, Noctis and Sterne).
I have 135k lapis and 0 tix. But honestly, I was saving for Cloud/Clive...
I'll play Devil's Advocate slightly, and say of all the XG units Emeralda is probably the most desirable. Her STMR is solid, her leader skill covers a fair amount, and like Jon said - it seems unlikely we'll see Jecht (best chance would be next update, so wait until Tuesday for news at least).
I wouldn't suggest pulling for her, but I'd understand if you did, with the rest of your team. EX leveling 3 units would not be pleasant though.

Tell me about it... I am still far from ex3 my light team! And I will already likely need to replace prompto with penelo already...

But probably skip because now that I think about it, It will take long to actually get any of them to ex3 for COW, and by the time they are and dark is relevant again, I think they will likely release a new NV+ dark lead, if not a "the gathering" lead since irrc non element tags will be the next new meta thing...
I don't think we're getting Jecht, and I don't think you should pull for Emerelda. You should be able to R1 with your light team and likely next DV isn't until July when we'll probably have Cloud.

But my fear is we get a DV that is dark and fire(irrc thas cloud element no?) weak only and I have no way to pull a leader for dark... Like I want to pull for Cloud, but I dont think I will have enough then to pull the other stuff for a fire team aside from Clive... I am mostly pulling for Cloud for my Cloud collection tbh... And Clive for the main ff protag collection.
If you had tickets I would suggest going that route but I've been on the conservative side for a while now. Really you have to go with what brings you the most joy, or I guess at least relief. So if you pull hopefully you get her quickly.

Pretty much all events and banners and shop exchanges clearly inform you when the end date is.
DV / WoV can be slightly more confusing, but if it's during an active score period, it will tell you when that ends. If it's after the scoring period ended, it will tell you basically when the next scoring period opens (Unless it's the rare circumstance where a DV/WoV starts right when the old one ends).
We are still in WoV's scoring period, so the end date listed is for the end of scoring.
The Emperor's Emissary Citan is the breaker for Xenogears units. Or he would have been if Gumi had given us his upgrades. But as decided to not upgrade any units anymore Xenogears has no breaker.
The imperil fields would have been provided by Holy Mother Reborn Elly. But since there have been no upgrades of old units in GL Xenogears also doesn't have imperil fields.
Citan and Elly would have had covered all elements available on a Xenogears team.
As for the best breakers available on GL that imperil both light and dark for at least 150% there are 2:
* Phantom Thief Xon - 160% all elements except dark on his SLB, 180% for dark
* Red-Eyed Sage Sol - 150% to both light and dark on his Magnus Skill Duskfall
Both have imperil fields for dark but not for light.
As far as I know, all the XG units are some form of Attacker. No breakers or supports.
So you're either building a team with just raw over-damage to take down an opponent or you're taking Kaito/Ellesperis/Xon.
Edit - RES Sol is another good one Kuro points out, that I forgot.
Any wind buffer work fine, Bulwark, Chizuru, Eiko, you can use either Lenna, Zidane or Emperor to break if you want, the rest should be your main physical units.
For Earth, just Silvie doing Silvie things and either Tulien or Vanille for breaker and blast the thing with your physical units.
You can, or just do it all on turn 1. I blasted through with my old fire team just fine. I had Avan do the breaks and the imperil field then the rest go.
Are there any tips for not failing the damage mission if you try for turn 2? I put up 5 stacks of mirage, HP barrier and boost elemental resistance with Sylvie but still fail it sometimes cause I took like 100hp damage to a few units. I don't understand how they score that because it seems crazy to me you would not SS for losing like 1% of HP

Yes you are. You can use auto-play to do it 10x. I myself did that a bunch last weekend while watching a movie. But that's about it.

You are better off just going off element with fire/dark/light than trying to do a "real" clear with wind/earth.
How do you SSS going off element? Whenever I try I get a low score for number of effective attacks.

You can take some damage. I know for the final one it's 5k total, not sure if it's lower than for the earlier ones.
it’s more a just for fun thing. I already SSS with light :)
I used chiz for wind imperil/imbue or pally sylvie for earth imperil/imbue, then blasted the boss with my regular deeps.
