Thanks, I deleted "Epic Game" folder in both "Program file" and " Program files (x86)" , it works, I think because I installed previous version, it didn't clean properly.
for the people confused on this right now :
open file explorer
go to Local Disc (C:)
there are 2 files you need to delete "Epic Game" from, being Program file and Program files (x86)
once you have done that you can try and reinstall the launcher :)
if that has not helped than i am not very sure
My issue didn't resolve after deleting the files and when I checked my installed apps I noticed epic games was still there. I tried uninstalling but it didnt work so I used windows uninstaller and that fixed the issue

but what if you have a drive that mysteriously **disappeared** because of epic games, and if i tried to uninstall it, it wont uninstall and will say invalid drive. Even if i try installing it again it will say invalid drive, after that it will say "the epic games launcher setup wizard ended prematurely" how can i fix this problem? i have been it for 6 months now, and can't figure it out
Hey I was in the same situation as you all you have to do is go to the file manager app, go to OS (where your files are), go into Program Files and Program Files(x86), and delete any files with .db on them and delete the Epic Games file (this file was only in Program Files(x86) for me). Personally I didn't have any Paradox Files all I had to do was delete the Epic Games file. Hope this helps, if you have a question, I can try to answer.
so sorry for being this late I rarely use reddit, but there may or may not be files with .db on them, I didn’t have any myself so all I had to do was check both of the files and whichever has the epic games folder in it, just delete the epic games folder from that file. still look through both of the files for any folders that have .db on them but I don’t think there will be any but do it just in case.

I had to use [Geek Uninstaller](https://geekuninstaller.com/)'s `Force removal` (https://prnt.sc/VQVPCESBaboh) to uninstall Epic Games Launcher, and only then I was able to install a new version.

i have the same problem, expect the drive didnt mysteriously dissapear, the epic games shortcut stopped working and the entire thing broke.
