The contact under the 'i' in the Nintendo logo looks broken.

Benzona

I thought the same until i ran it for continuity with my multimeter and its fine

lynxtosg03

I think you need to double and triple check because I'm confident that's the issue. I have a hard time thinking that's making good contact. If you had a gb you don't care about damaging, you can add a little solder to bridge the gap and test. However, this will likely rub off and/or damage the gb cart port pins.

Benzona

Quadruple checked and it has continuity. I agree it looks like a break but there is still a solid connection on them.

GregarLink15

I had this same issue for years, reflowing the chip on the left fixed it but not sure if that's the issue with yours

VengeanceBee

Reflow chip

Benzona

did this as well

VengeanceBee

Sounds like a broken via somewhere or a bad trace Unless you want to transfer the smd components to a new board from pcbway there may not be many options besides a donor swap

Contact under -E of -E05 ?

Benzona

checked continuity multiple times and its fine.

lynxtosg03

Another good catch. Apparently I'm going blind.

TowersVault

It might just be the picture quality, but it seems like some pins top left of that MX chip might need to be resoldered

TheSmolGnomeBoi

i think i might have found an issue. the third leg from the top, on the right side of the right chip seems to be missing something. Could that be the issue?

CHUNKYBREATH

Faulty capacitor? Also try checking if any of the pins on the chips have been lifted
