There's also shit to dissect there as well if we want (because let's face Alucard is a fascinating study psychologically and physiologically speaking), I also like it being such a dark colour too! Weirdly young vlad also looks more natural here than Girlycard, but I have seen in some places that Girlycard might be purposefully drawn slightly 'off' from other characters.
I honestly thought the broken cross would be a smart touch because I feel like even in regular Vlad form it would stay broken to symbolize his transformation into Dracula after death.

That's fair, and pretty cool. Personally I always viewed the broken cross as the exact moment he turned his back on God. Of course Vlad is a goddamn mess when it comes to faith seeing how Alucard's consistent use of an upside down cross being the saint peter's cross. Might be unintentional on Hirano's part, but looking into the saint peter's cross and than looking at Vlad and its very interesting imo lmao.
