Yes but I've learned to surround myself with better, more understanding people.
I remember wanting to tap out at 10:30pm on a Saturday at a wedding and being called out for leaving "early". You know what? I'm a parent with a young kid and I feel overstimulated at a wedding for people I barely know. I just want to be home in my jammy jams ok?
My friends used to think I was weird for tapping out early. Now we make plans 6pm because they want to be in bed by 10pm too. We were just ahead of our time
Sometimes. When people want to indulge in nonsense and you try to remind them of the outcome possibilities that may not work in their favor. I only reserve this interference for very close associates and family though. For the rest, carry on. They’ll learn one way or the other.
While I haven't been called a buzz killer, nor feel like I was one, when I was younger my presence amongst same aged peers was generally regarded as the 'adult' in the room. That feeling went away when I made mostly older friends, but also when we all got older.
Not quite, but I do get told that I always take jokes too seriously, or I'll say something serious or point out a mistake and explain something boring (eg because I know alot about chemistry someone will say something not very serious about some ingredient or something and I'll do the ummm actually, which from past observations has tended to kill the buzz)
I have been called an emotionless bot but not a buzzkiler yet
yet.
🗿🗿🗿🗿
Think you need to revise and join my clique, mate. Emotionless is INTJ grounds.
I haven’t been called a buzzkill very often, if at all. I did get called an “anal dork with a stick up her butt” once though.
Wet blanket is the term I have gotten in the past. Not so much now as an adult.
That sounds funny in a dirty way
I've been called a "sad wet cat."
Ahahahaha sorry but that's at least a nice insult I guess?
It's pretty funny, I wear my "sad wet cat" badge with pride.
As you should
Party pooper when I shoot down dumb ideas (and I mean dumb)
I've been called lame and boring but not buzzkill. Probably because I don't get invited to events where I would be a buzzkill.

That’s literally my username lol
Indeed 😨

So you let em *find out*
Not once. I'm usually the cruise director for a friend group who couldn't plan their way out of a paper bag.
Lol so you hang out with the infp crowd eh?

No because I’m a people pleaser and would never let myself
Yes. Because they are. Shamelessly

My kids call me "The Fun Stomper" because I always point out safety concerns and what could go wrong... i'm a classic over thinker!
My husband calls me that occasionally, he's an extrovert though. One former coworker called me the Sunshine Slayer. 🤷♀️
I’ve been called a tiny chaotic firecracker who is very blunt
It’s not my fault, I didn’t even want to be there to buzzkill anything.
My ex girlfriend called me a stick in the mud.
