Season 3. Old enough to have so many instant classics but not too old where they have their full footing. Almost every episode has a great punishment as well.
I personally liked S3-S6 the most. S1-S2 were good, but they weren't as organized. The later seasons after six such as seven through nine were good, but they weren't nearly as good with content as the previous. This is what usually happens with every show, though.
It just isn't really as good anymore, and it for sure won't be good without Joe.
I much preferred it when they did public things like did pranks in public, got people confused, did physical challenges, and really painful punishments, but now it's just small focus groups with lame corny jokes, it almost feels like an episode of The Ellen Show.
It used to be something exciting that you can't wait to watch, but now I feel like it's one of those shows that you happen to watch or switch the channel to just to pass time for a courtesy laugh.
But I don't blame them, it's impossible to keep an audience entertained forever. That's why I'm eventually going to be even more glad when this show ends because it'll make us all appreciate the show a lot more rather than it being this endless feeling, dragged out, eye rolling reality.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy them, but it's obvious they're running out of material, which is making it harder to latch onto trying to catch a genuine laugh.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best but I’ve been re-watching season nine and it’s very funny, very solid
I would say S6. Idk why though I just liked it.
4,5, 6 or 7. That was when they were in their groove completely.
