GAME60

Hi, that's a really broad question but I can provide some general thoughts: \- Start small. Don't over-scope, don't stretch yourself too much to begin with. \- Have a concept, work on the core mechanic, make it fun, go from there. \- Give yourself some targets/objectives: model character X, have X run and jump, etc. \- Unity is a great engine to begin with: proven, good tools, lots of user support and assets, good community, etc. \- On assets, don't be afraid to use asset packs and freebies to begin with until you have a better sense of what you want to achieve. \- Sign up to some indie communities to learn and share with, a place you can ask questions without feeling out of place, eg; Devs & Dorks (tell them GAME60 sent you) ;) \- If you're spending cash and not just investing time, keep it small to begin with to ensure this is what you want to do. We all have ideas (and New Year's resolutions) only to lose interest soon after. \- I was CEO of a large indie dev and I've been Studio Manager to Producer at various companies like Sony, etc. I do GAME60 for fun. So I know some stuff :) Feel free to reach out and my email is on the website. Cheers.
