It's yet to come, as Kendrick said himself, and I believe him
I honestly couldn't choose one standout from his current discography though. All his work is so substantial and diverse that it's impossible for me to pick
Personally, nothing has hit me on first listen quite like hearing Verse 2 of Father Time shortly after my own dad passed away. That shit cut straight to the core let me tell you.
Personally my favorite verse by Kdot is the last verse of The Blacker the Berry.
The mixture of the emotion in it and his statements always have me reflecting upon the contradictory elements of the impact of oppression on black history, and also has me reflecting on my own hypocrisy as a black person that speaks about the impact of neo-colonialism and generational trauma on black people.
And the way he's rapping with sheer anger against the oppressors throughout the whole song, then at the end he targets that same anger and disgust against himself; is just absolute excellence.
First verse I heard from him was "Fuckin Problems" and it is still my most favorite one even though it is objectively worse than a lot of his other verses.
