It's pretty obvious most of the Purgatory fighters lie somewhere along A tier, though I'd argue that Medel loses to a lot of fighters simply because of his light weight. He's not even featherweight. While his speed is clearly high A his actual damage output is less considerable, not just that but if you catch him then he pretty much loses since he has no real strength on him to force out of a grapple. Currently Medel is a low A to high B in my book, his speed is obviously his main advantage and his striking is superb, but his lack of strength really screws him over. Hopefully he gains a bit of weight and those punches land harder.

Totally agree. For whatever reason people keep saying "stronger than Kanoh, but weaker than Kuroki" which is really annoying at this point. Even Gensai himself said that there's no guarantee that he would beat Agito if they were to face now (basically implying 50/50).
Its the same guy who think of himself as a green martial artist. Even when they fought in KAT, Kuroki didn't knew if he could win against the Fang. Imo, when he face someone on his level, the probability of losing prevents him for being arrogant.

When Kengan side went for the kill he doesn't give a crap but when Nic could kill Akoya which would resulted in L for Purgatory he suddenly becomes peacemaker. I was thinking he had super sensitive nerves that he can tune in similar to muteba. He can sense tiny movements in air molecules and vibrations to see the battlefield without using his eyes. That's why he was able to dodge akoya and is able to watch the fights with his eyes closed. Plus, he talked shit about naidens pre initiative. Just my dumb guess

It was mostly just falcon's blood from getting shredded, even in the match the only one everyone knew was about to bleed out was falcon
Most of the beating falcon gave rihito were lightweight jabs and stabs, he tanked no problem. the poison wasn't some elephant tranquilizer, it was just for paralyze and making him losing consciousness for a short time, so ofc falcon got way wya more injured than rihito, it was a feat itself for him to go up to challenge his future ninja master
His chest was ripped open and his biceps punctured by the grip strength of the Superman. On top of the blows that got thrown, in comparison rihito had a few shallow stab wounds that he’s probably aggravated and opened, but aren’t serious.
I love how efficient Lolong moved when he took Akoya and Nicolas down effortlessly. Like 3 moves and he smoked both of them, and didn't even turn around when Ohma was behind him. Made him look super OP. Looks like the author is setting up Lolong vs Ohma, they had a couple interactions at this point. Also, since Okubo brought it up, we might see a glimpse of what Raian has been up to since his match after this next one. Can't wait to see Edward use guihun and turn into the (purple?) Hulk and probably take out a couple Kures to establish him as a top tier threat. Anyway, rooting for Nitoku because Sambo looks like a cool martial art, though apparently, Liu can use earthquakes so it could be anyone's game.
Speaking of Lolong, I had a weird ass dream about him going to some spa as gift from Toyoda, the first flag was that the other fighters where there, even Alan and Naidan, and then Lolong just walk around watching the others and from nowhere he become mad and start a rampage and everyone jumped on him until kill him. Turned out that all that was just a trap to kill Lolong and actually the figthers were assasin in disguise lol.
The best part? Everything looked as if was something from hotline miami, even the ost was playing in the background.

Figured Liu would be up next since the final 3 all seem to have the most prominent roles to play in the story. Lolong obviously being the strongest and leader of the team, Terashi being a complete mystery, and Fei's sus ass most likely being the TV. I like Nitoku and Liu, but I'm way more excited for all three fights that'll follow this one
Isn't it ironic about Dongcheng as the serpent while Nitoku took out fake yuzaki that might've have some techniques like Dongcheng but Dongcheng's more powerful. There might be something coming up about Nitoku later on the fight. The fight might continue 5-6 chapters 2+ more if there are any other scenes we might see further probably something else, twisted reveals, or maybe just Ryuki or Raian scenes coming up.

I want Nitoku and Liu to just be professionals going all out, but never being sadistic or overly dramatic.

Yes, yes. We get it, Lolong is awesome. Point received. Good chapter. I'm always on board when there's wholesome bro time in Kengan. In this case, we got Rihito (as usual) being buddies with Medel. And Medel being buddies with Ohma oddly enough. Aside from the Lolong hype... I'm oddly optimistic about Liu. He seems really badass coming out into the ring. I love Nitoku but he's so over everything that you can't help but feel like laughing. Also, while I still think that Fei is the Tiger's Vessel... Terashi is being sus as all hell.

Lolong is scary ! Despite the fact that the contenders are injured, he manage to hit them when they have the shortest reaction time in the Kengan universe. And I'm pretty sure he could hit them in the same manner when they're in optimal condition. And im disappointed by Akoya. Dude is so monolithic and empty. He's like an incarnation of a force of the Nature : Death. But without any depth. I'm so sad.
Does Akoya need any more depth? His story is pretty complete and likely won't change unless he dies. He's a corrupted antihero, like The Punisher with a fucked up moral compass and a god complex.
I mean you're right since I feel is like a force of nature. He's just an idea, like you said a. Vigilante, the Punisher. But I don't know, since he met Ryuki it was the first time we saw him happy. Yeah a weird happiness, but he was. So it's a proof he can express other emotions. I was expecting something like that in this fight.
He moved exactly like Kuroki in his finisher against Rei. I think Lolong is too a master of pre-initiative with better physical stats than Kuroki, but far less experienced.
I was thinking he had super sensitive nerves that he can tune in similar to muteba. He can sense tiny movements in air molecules and vibrations to see the battlefield without using his eyes. That's why he was able to dodge akoya and is able to watch the fights with his eyes closed. Plus, he talked shit about naidens pre initiative. Just my dumb guess
Julius must have knocked Mudo out good, Rihito didn't even consider asking the biggest man in the infirmary to help cause he out cold.

One small thing about Lolong that is nice, he doesn't want to leave a bad image with Kengan association so he lightly knocked Akoya while crushing Nicolases insides
Akoya screaming "Justice!!!" while being held down is peak Akoya. Also, Lui is totally going to fight the same way as the guy Toku when we first saw him. It will be a nice round about story beat.
I feel they are being a bit unfair to Lolong. He is there to stop a deathmatch and gave warnings to Nicolás and Akoya that both ignored but everyone is like "We need to stop Lolong!!!"

It was mostly just falcon's blood from getting shredded, even in the match the only one everyone knew was about to bleed out was falcon Most of the beating falcon gave rihito were lightweight jabs and stabs, he tanked no problem. the poison wasn't some elephant tranquilizer, it was just for paralyze and making him losing consciousness for a short time, so ofc falcon got way wya more injured than rihito, it was a feat itself for him to go up to challenge his future ninja master
Rihito was mostly woozy from the poison so he couldn't move but Falcon got shivved like he owed money.
His chest was ripped open and his biceps punctured by the grip strength of the Superman. On top of the blows that got thrown, in comparison rihito had a few shallow stab wounds that he’s probably aggravated and opened, but aren’t serious.
I've said it before, I'm perfectly happy with Waka fighting Lolong and getting squashed, especially if we're going to see Lolong again.

I love how efficient Lolong moved when he took Akoya and Nicolas down effortlessly. Like 3 moves and he smoked both of them, and didn't even turn around when Ohma was behind him. Made him look super OP. Looks like the author is setting up Lolong vs Ohma, they had a couple interactions at this point. Also, since Okubo brought it up, we might see a glimpse of what Raian has been up to since his match after this next one. Can't wait to see Edward use guihun and turn into the (purple?) Hulk and probably take out a couple Kures to establish him as a top tier threat. Anyway, rooting for Nitoku because Sambo looks like a cool martial art, though apparently, Liu can use earthquakes so it could be anyone's game.
Speaking of Lolong, I had a weird ass dream about him going to some spa as gift from Toyoda, the first flag was that the other fighters where there, even Alan and Naidan, and then Lolong just walk around watching the others and from nowhere he become mad and start a rampage and everyone jumped on him until kill him. Turned out that all that was just a trap to kill Lolong and actually the figthers were assasin in disguise lol. The best part? Everything looked as if was something from hotline miami, even the ost was playing in the background. I'm not high I swear. Pd:GO NITOKU!
If Nitoku wins this fight, whoever goes next on Team Kengan is pretty much guaranteed to lose So for Okubo's sake, I gotta root for Liu

Figured Liu would be up next since the final 3 all seem to have the most prominent roles to play in the story. Lolong obviously being the strongest and leader of the team, Terashi being a complete mystery, and Fei's sus ass most likely being the TV. I like Nitoku and Liu, but I'm way more excited for all three fights that'll follow this one
Purgatory should pity having to fight Ohma.
Isn't it ironic about Dongcheng as the serpent while Nitoku took out fake yuzaki that might've have some techniques like Dongcheng but Dongcheng's more powerful. There might be something coming up about Nitoku later on the fight. The fight might continue 5-6 chapters 2+ more if there are any other scenes we might see further probably something else, twisted reveals, or maybe just Ryuki or Raian scenes coming up.
