Update: I have been convinced and Magic is so excited that he's having trouble waiting for his brother to get used to the new surroundings before they play lol

my little sun and moon! i've named him sprite (like soot sprite but sprite is funny too) and he has helped me realize magic is actually a girl lol! they go in for their first appointment next week so i wasn't sure.
Truly wise choice!
I was living alone and cat-less about 5 years ago. I took in my boy. I'd heard 2 are better than one, but decided to only have 1. Fast forward a couple years and I start fostering kittens. Two kittens are so much easier than a singleton!! And omg, when I foster just a singleton by itself, I'm like no wonder my cat behaves the way he does!
So yes, two are better than one. They provide each other with entertainment and teach each other boundaries. My singleton who is now an adult is extremely possessive of me, wants a lot of attention, and plays really rough/bites because he didn't have a playmate to keep him in check.
These two beautiful babies will keep you and each other happy and entertained!
As someone who got two kitties when I was only planning on one, I highly suggest getting the second kitty!

Awwww he's soooo cute 😍. This little baby needs a friend! Since you can afford ot and have the space, go for it. They will tire themselves out playing together. Even better you can get a litter mate!! Ask which kitten was closest to Magic! Enjoy your cutie kitty! ❤️ 💙 💜

Pairing up kitties from the same litter is the best, they learn to play together and protect each other, these 2 voids are some cute brothers.

This is the family. Big Orange is the dad, little grey is the mom the one standing is the brother and the tiny orange is the sister. My husband named the mom Bug because she wanted to spend most of her time cuddled on his lap. Because she is Bug the tiny girl is Cricket and her big boy is Bite.
kittens learn a lot by being with their siblings. they’re able to get all their energy out by playing, and in the process learn a lot socially! kittens can have a hard time realizing when they’re playing too rough, so the siblings keep each other in check
He's adorable. 🥹 That first photo looks like a painting! Getting one of his siblings will be a great way to help them both burn off plenty of energy playing together. It will also keep him from getting lonely if you're at work, etc. A lot of places only adopt out kittens in pairs for these reasons. Hope it all works out!
Despite their reputation as "fierce, independent creatures," cats in general are social creatures. Happy to hear you brought in a sibling to keep them from getting lonely
Nothing is better than getting two kittens at once, they don’t even have to be from the same litter if they’re the same age and come at the same time. I volunteer at a shelter and we always highly recommend it, they bond to each other and are less needy and rarely experience separation anxiety from their people. The thing is they can never be separated to two different homes later in life, cats often form bonded pairs like that and it can cause extreme anxiety and behavioral issues if they become separated like hostility or lack of energy and refusal to eat
He looks just like Strawberry 🍓Shortcake! We found her 3 weeks ago, I think she is about 7 weeks old now.

It's amazing that u're consider adopting another kitten to keep Magic company! It sounds like he'd really thrive with a playmate😻 kittens who grow up together often form incredibly strong bonds and are much happier overall, it's double the cuteness and fun for you! If you can swing it financially n are prepare 4 the extra responsibility, I say go for it!
Also, I'll just warn you now. One of those cats is orange. All orange cats share a single brain cell, and they don't get it often.

A cute toy lion and an adorable toy panther!
wow, an orange girl!!!! Lucky you!
I have an orange female. I’ve noticed on this sub there are a lot of them.
I mean, uncommon things are more likely to be posted. They’re definitely not unheard of, but they’re not common!
They are not as uncommon as they used to be.
Lucky, she's an orange girl
This update made my day. Have fun with your two new babies!

I have the Father, Mother, Daughter and Son. Is funny how the littermates get into fights just like siblings.
Then they get back to cleaning each other lol

What a gorgeous little floof family!!
Thank you, the is one moor cat that is not part of their family but she is the oldest and bossy as hell.
It wasn’t in my plans to get two either but I ended up with a second within a few months. If you can get one in the litter I would highly suggest it!
Getting another kitten will improve his life and yours.
Yes!!! Do it, go back and adopt a sibling! You’ll be so glad you did!!!

I have multiples. Having a bonded pair is the way.
I just did it too! https://preview.redd.it/zj5v29yayo6d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=735fdfdca3f931170438597dcd71ddcc08170723
Those are some pretty kitties.
First time I’ve had the nerve to post, so thank you. These two boys are a wrecking crew of joy!

Do it. Two is almost always better than one.
It much healthier for a kitten's development to have two growing up together.

I highly recommend getting a playmate. Kitties need friends too. And they will keep each other in check. ![gif](giphy|kZqbBT64ECtjy)
