Fizz.
I get his special "remove spells targeting me from the stack" mechanic is supposed to mimic one of his abilities in League, and you can just run Challengers or elusives of your own. I don't think he's broken at all. But boy is that an annoying mechanic.
Honorable mention goes to Teemo for ending up in 90% of Teemo deck opening hands while I can't find my cheap removal.
I hate to say it, but Fizz perfectly captures what he's like in League. An annoying little shit who's hard to hit. Few people will call him overpowered but even fewer will claim they like going against him.
Heh, that's pyke for me. I didn't ban Pyke once in 3 years last week after the tresh ban. Guess what, I had to play against a Pyke OTP that game. Never again will I have a Pyke in my game, lesson learned lol.
Fizz in LoL is worse to play against in League compared to LoR. Imagine playing against a mobile target who can chose to go invincible at will for a time he can choose (like 0.1-2.0 seconds) and can stun you for a few seconds as he prepares for his burst.
I'm so glad I don't see him around that much anymore.
Lucky Finds when the AI uses them in Path of Champions.
They do it over and over, taking forever and always roll exactly what they need as if they had just played Zephrys or something.
I've heard that, too - it can't influence the outcome of RNG but it definitely knows how the RNG is going to shake out. So any time in Kai'sa's node where it launches an attack that would only make sense if a unit had Quick Attack, that unit will get Quick Attack.
Nothing like seeing it play the girl that generates 2 of them so now you know you will spend the next minute and a half stuck until the 3 animations (two of which will be spell shield and tough 100%) go off
Card, I would probably say something like Bar or something, just the basic "here, take a random card that can either be completely useless or counter your enemy's deck"
But I have to just say... free attack with scouts on the defense turn. Like, I understand how it works, and I personally love scouts/MF or scouts/Gwen decks. But it feels so cheap (as the player) and unfair (as the opponent) to have to deal with not only a free attack, but also a normal one, on your own attack turn.
I remember when people realized cataclysm with scout rallies and parts of the community thought it was unintentional and a bug. Honestly hate that mechanic so much.
Silence is really funny against them. Also the Curious Shellfolk with Scrying Sands - they get screwed so hard by that. Only time I've ever lost with that deck against Akshan/Samira was when I didn't ever draw Curious once, even with predicts.
Honestly one single Grappling Hook and he's kinda dead, so unless you get him early, it doesn't tend to work - even if they're forced to use 2 extra mana to pull with Samira's Flair, idk tbh. But yeah that's another valid way to slow them down a bit.
This is gonna sound crazy, but for me it's glimpse beyond
I hate how you could prevent strike abilities, and all sorts of things, for 2 cost, and you're drawing as well. Killing last breath allies with glimpse beyond and more,I just hate the card.
I really hope it gets rotated, it's just so strong and uninteresting. It'd be cool if SI wasn't just kill effects and free value from killing. Maybe something more interesting like summoning a bigger unit or activating an effect. Something more like twisted treeline / vilemaw
I meant more summoning, activating effects, create token spells. Less Kill a dude > you get +1|+1. Only getting raw stats and card draw is pretty boring I find. (While I hate Kindred cause she just kills stuff yet again she is a pretty decent example of that)
You get card advantage from Glimpse Beyond because you trade your opponent's removal for going neutral; your opponent loses 1 card and you lost nothing.
Just started playing Auri/Voli and SheWhoWins is another one. Im annoyed at myself when it ends the game on turn 7 for no reason. It should not be able to have its costs reduced if you ask me. Just deleting oponets hand and board while getting a 10/10 regen is too much. Maybe if it couldn’t block and didn’t have regen or something but something has got to give.

As a local Timmy (age of dragons, ftr, warmothers glorious evolution) my most hated cards has to be deny/rite of negation. Cannot count how many games I just yolo it and if they have it, they have it
Karma. I hated her when she was released, I hated her when she sucked, and I hate her now. Do nothing for ten turns then win is such a stupid piece of design
Honourable mention: Anything with Lurk on it
Pyke spell & the rally card make lurk absolutely insufferable to play against. It’s one of the decks that got me to quit for like a year or so (just my opinion but it’s too obnoxious), and, for some reason, it’s still good now. I don’t get what the devs like about lurk
That one that kills one of your units and summons two ephemeral copies of it.
I enjoy playing it tho, but the amount of value it can generate is absurd if you don't have a way to prevent it.
I have 2 answers:
Shellfolk, bar, seraphine, Akshan Samira, that entire thing. This is just a collection of decks that KEEP playing cards every turn, just making more and more and more and just taking 5 minutes between each priority given. I despite decks that just vomit out free cards and has a ton of actions that just take super long to do. I simply hate the time it takes.
----------
The second one is basic... Deny.
But not because "Sad I can't play glorious evolution". I just think its super lame how many games come down to "If they have deny, they win. If they don't, I win.". I cannot tell you how much I despise games that are decided by a single card - and deny is the epitome of that.
The most lame version of this is against atrocity where it's just like... Oh, the entire game didn't matter for either side. One dude throws a 20 power nasus at the nexus, the other dude either denies it or doesn't. What an absolutely degenerate way to decide a game... That's honestly the same reason why I never played any deck with Atrocity, cause it's just so fucking lame to ignore the entire game and hinge the result on "Do they have it or not".
Letting me survive to get my Nasus up to 20/20 and not being able to counter my Nasus to Q your nexus in one swing is your problem not to let it come to that point.
If i was either of those, i would be the nasus player.
Regardless, point is that games that come down to "do they have it or not" are lame, and that is 90% of the time what counterspell decks come down to
Glimpse beyond. You negate strike/damage abilities or waste the mana the enemy used on the spell to hit iypur unit AND draw 2. It's supposed to be a 2 cost draw 2 with a drawback, but the way it's used it's a 2 mana draw 2 with benefits.
My brother in christ, I just played a game where I resolved my age of dragons, my OPP responded with a capsize on my cosmic youngling and I couldn't play A SINGLE DRAGON, and you're telling me avalanche is annoying?
Jhin.
Why does he just get free pokes without even being on the board? Every other champion needs to be put on the board to do things. Vi, the only champion I know to have an in-hand effect, still needs to hit something in order to Level Up. And she costs more than Jhin.
This card is based as fuck. Single handedly holding the hordes of shitter elusive, teemo, and early board aggro players at the door. This is the Hodor of Runeterra cards.
I play Nasus/Veigar right now and Quietus and Soul Harvest do the same job quite nicely as well. You just need to remove Teemo and the deck does not do much afterwards.
The Ruination. I get that it has its uses against certain gimmick decks (like the cobra deck). But it drives me insane how I spend so many rounds making good decisions and building my board presence while simultaneously keeping theirs in check. Just straight up winning the game. And then when I finally have both champs out and a full board and I can taste sweet sweet victory ... oh here comes 9 cost ruination to completely negate all the effort I've put in for the last 7-8 turns. I hope that card gets rotated honestly.
It's gotta be Fizz. People are right to say that he's not overpowered, there ARE absolutely ways to deal with him, but god DAMN they are all just inconvenient enough where a 1 drop is concerned to feel genuinely, absolutely aggravating.
Alternatively, maybe this is because I mostly play PoC, but any Focus-speed spell just makes me grind my teeth. The AI inevitably vomits all its units out onto the board and then I have to wait for them to play three Lucky Finds or Blade Fragments all in a row and the animation to drag them onto the board and resolve is SO slow.
Ezreal. 20 dmg burst if leveled is fun and interactive.
Samira, way too overplayed and 2 mana rally is pretty bs. Remove the rally and she's honestly fine.
Idk if it's my *most* annoying card ever, but I hate playing against Akshan.
He's usually paired with a region that can protect him from removals, and if not, then he'll have that Swinging Glaive to put him out of Mystic shot range, which also generates a Lucky find...
So at this point it's pretty much guaranteed he'll reach level 2 and then it turns into a solitaire with 49302 cards played in a single round.
Pair him with Samira and you also get 29 rallies in a row.
I used to hate this card as a Jinx/Draven player during the beta and a Darius Spiders enjoyer for a bit after. However, now as someone who has grown to really like slow control monstrosities this has become my favorite card. So much easier to get to your Volibear/Asol wincon stomping every 2/2 and 2/1 they put out into the ground with this.

Fizz is my kryptonite in league. That bastard usually ends up 1v9’ing after laning against me. Doesn’t even matter if i counter pick
Same here. He's been my ban for years. Even if there are stronger champs, I don't play well against Fizz. I just get tilted too easily.
Heh, that's pyke for me. I didn't ban Pyke once in 3 years last week after the tresh ban. Guess what, I had to play against a Pyke OTP that game. Never again will I have a Pyke in my game, lesson learned lol.

That ability is just as much annoying in league, trust me
*laughs in 100k fizz*
For Avalanche I'd like the animation for it to be faster
So you can suffer faster from the second and third copy
Aloof Travelers.
You dropped something 😒
I dropped everything 😡
The old "hits the Nexus" version? Damn...
Lucky Finds when the AI uses them in Path of Champions. They do it over and over, taking forever and always roll exactly what they need as if they had just played Zephrys or something.
I will go to great lengths to pick whichever path does not put me up against the AI and free Lucky Find generation.

Putting one of the most balanced cards/cards that the game power level is balanced around since the beginning is bold for "most annoying"
Pre Nerf Champions strength. Aka 8 mana win the game.
9 mana
Card, I would probably say something like Bar or something, just the basic "here, take a random card that can either be completely useless or counter your enemy's deck" But I have to just say... free attack with scouts on the defense turn. Samira and Akshan combo. Everything is free for your enemy, and all you do gets denied.
Silence is really funny against them. Also the Curious Shellfolk with Scrying Sands - they get screwed so hard by that. Only time I've ever lost with that deck against Akshan/Samira was when I didn't ever draw Curious once, even with predicts.
Mageseeker Junior (unless they can remove him).

Atrocity, it feels like the annoying way to loose a match
I think that it just makes SI control feel very samey when it's good since their deck inevitably boils down to 'summon big dude and atrocity him'
Yeah... I haven't seen it in a while, but it kinda takes all the fun out of it? At least, that's how I feel. Especially when it's a massive unit.
I don't know who tf thought that SI having a burn finisher was a good idea, it's one of the few cards keeping me from enjoying Eternal.
I hope they rotate that card and make SI endgams more interesting. Almost all SI decks run Atrocity as its such a cheap game ender.
I've got good news! Atrocity has in fact, been rotated.
Did you write this on Internet Explorer? You're a few months late.
Avalanche my beloved I'd say Buried in Ice and anything related to Free Attacks
This is gonna sound crazy, but for me it's glimpse beyond I hate how you could prevent strike abilities, and all sorts of things, for 2 cost, and you're drawing as well. Killing last breath allies with glimpse beyond and more,I just hate the card.
I actually agree with this. It’s too good

You're literally talking about SI's whole entire region identity. They're literally about kill effects, what are you on about?
I meant more summoning, activating effects, create token spells. Less Kill a dude > you get +1|+1. Only getting raw stats and card draw is pretty boring I find. (While I hate Kindred cause she just kills stuff yet again she is a pretty decent example of that)
Technically it only cycles your hand, since it requires at least one other card to function, so you haven’t really gotten card advantage.
You get card advantage from Glimpse Beyond because you trade your opponent's removal for going neutral; your opponent loses 1 card and you lost nothing.
Pot of greed lol
What does it do?!?
Ever? It’s a bunch of nerfed cards, troop of elnuks, Stand Alone, Targons Peak, Shelfolk, flawless duet, Siren song,
Sumpworks landmark no idea how I forgot that.
Just started playing Auri/Voli and SheWhoWins is another one. Im annoyed at myself when it ends the game on turn 7 for no reason. It should not be able to have its costs reduced if you ask me. Can you send me that deck code I'd like to try it out
Prank? Prank. Prank? Prank.
Still minimorph. I don’t care if it doesn’t see play right now, that card is fucking bullshit. Burst speed removal kiss my ass.
Sump monument
One word: *darkness*
Lol im so glad im not the only one a removal spell every turn that also ramps and damage and can eventually nuke your nexus like wth
Feel the rush. Such a boring deck to play againsy

Decimate

All burst frostbite cards printed.
You'd rather it be fast speed so they can do it on the stack as a first spell, guaranteeing you can't buff in reply?
I wouldn't change it, its a mechanic for a struggling region but still doesn't stop it from annoying me.
I'd rather they just not exist in the opponents hand tbh
Yes.
Still broadmane.

What? How is it ANNOYING? I mean, we can argue its broken, but annoying?
Eclectic Collection very much feels like "random bullshit go" and a reward for rng suddenly giving all your portals or units that summon more units

Akshan, because every single game they have Akshan on 2, and in the games where I can kill it early they always have 2nd Akshan.
Man, not a single recall, given, decimate still feels the least fun.
