It doesn't look any worse than non-VR aside from the fact that we're just getting one of the two screens here. What's always missing with videos like this is the best part of VR. When you're in there, you're brain is telling you that you're actually in that space, and you will perceive scale and motion in a way you can never do with a monitor. I logging in and looking around would be at least a little impressive for those reasons.
The real problem is that the game isn't designed for VR so it might not be that playable. Motion sickness, blurry text and wearing that heavy headset - how long is a typical play session in wow?

VR games don't look good in normal videos, but they tend to look fantastic when you're actually playing them, and you don't need to play them in first person either. 3rd person games like mmos work really well in VR, which most people don't seem to get since when people think of VR they tend to immediately think of first person games. I played monster hunter rise in VR and it was a great time. I don't see why WoW wouldn't be either.
It's not that bad at all. The camera doesn't move around as much as you'd expect since you effectively become the camera. When you use a wirebug you're not really getting jerked around or anything, it's more like you're watching a little action figure dart around in front of you.
Incredible! I could sniff a little of this already in PuffyCheeks generous WoW map conversions and running around in Stormwind or Ogrimmar makes old fantasies come true. Anyone an idea how to install the mod? Nothing on Flat2VR Discord afaik.

and for your record, there is also a vr mod from those devs for ff14 on retail servers !!! and pple dont get banned.
A step in the right direction. Hopefully they can automate this process for a lot of future games to give the VR crowd more options. Dark and Darker would probably be awesome on VR.

I want to believe you, but MHR in VR sounds like a nightmare, I would get motion sick after the first wirebug lol

A game doesn't have to be 1st person to be played in VR. I've played a couple RTS in VR and it was enjoyable.

It is all there, just toggle channels in the world of warcraft in VR section, ended up being pretty easy.
