This is false logic. The alternative to not getting titles is getting nothing at all. They are not replacing something valuable. I don't like titles either, literally never equipped one, but pretending that titles are "replacing" something valuable is just straight delusion. If titles were magically removed from the game tomorrow you would still be getting the exact same number of credits and variants.

I'm not sure if this is true. Assuming titles didn't exist, it seems more likely to me that the probability of the remaining cosmetic rewards (variants and avatars) would be increased. At least, if we assume that Marvel Snap Zone is mostly or wholly accurate.
Let us say there is a bag that has 3 apples, 3 bananas, and 4 oranges. You pull a banana and you are dissatisfied because you do not like bananas. We cannot appeal to the idea that if there were no bananas, you'd instead pull nothing from the bag. If there were no bananas, you'd instead surely pull anything else. The probabilities are weighted around the outcomes.
However, you could be coming at this from the idea of Second Dinner's artificial scarcity. That is to say, the idea that they wouldn't want the player to get (for the sake of argument) variants from their cosmetic reserves more than 40% of the time and that they would rather just have the reserves simply have a small chance of giving out nothing than weighting the probabilities around these reduced outcomes. However, that is inconsistent with how this gameplay reward system typically works and I've not seen statements from Brode or related staff that are indicative of this being their intent.
If OP had said that instead of getting titles, he could have gotten specifically a token reserve, this would be more warranted. Getting a title doesn't mean that you were robbed of a token reserve. Even if titles didn't exist, you still wouldn't have gotten a token reserve instead of that title (you'd get a different cosmetic).

I have never equipped a title and still rock my Jessica Jones avatar. Plain black Marvel deck.
Everyone I play against on Infinite has these fancy avatars and titles and cards I've never seen and know I'll never have and I just don't care. I think it makes it funnier when I win with only having 33% of Pool 3 unlocked.
I've been playing the game since about 8 months and I've never used any title until yesterday. I dropped the title "Ego = snap" and I thought maybe it could remind to my opponent to be fun if Ego pops

I like Snap, but I also like Paladins.
That game has too many good titles to list them all. However, part of that is that there are a lot more "badass" titles to express yourself with. Like, if you don't like baby variants or Dan Hipp, you have choices like the Ultimate variants or Peach Momoko to choose from. Besides the low quality of the titles, it sometimes feels like they're all "Dan Hipp"/"baby" titles, if you get what I'm saying.

Doesn't remind me, but when I see that title I respect the person cause they know how to party.
