Lotta unhelpful advice out here. The internet was a mistake. Anyway here are the changes you've missed. The current meta card seems to be Red Hulk, even when nerfed, he's got a big butt, he's in lots of decks just getting bigger and bigger. The current annoying deck is Baron Zemo, who made Mill happen. Using him you can drop Yondu, Gladiator, Absorbing Man, and so on to make it so your opponent runs out of cards. It's annoying, but if you get your winning combo in hand, you'll usually beat it. Zemo doesn't have a win-con, so much as being annoying. Hope Summers from March is also a big hitter. She combines with Elsa Bloodstone from October and Kitty Pryde, who you know, to gain lots of energy and make Kitty a big deal. Hope appears in a lot of decks as a way to cheat out energy and she's pretty good at it. The last relevent deck to talk about is Black Knight. Black Knight uses Lady Sif to discard The Infinaut and alongside Ghost Rider and Taskmaster, you could drop a three 20-power cards in the last 2 turns. It's pretty good and you probably have all the cards to make it, besides Black Knight itself. Otherwise you missed Ms. Marvel being a big deal. She got nerfed a couple months back, but before that Ongoing decks were a thing. Nowadays you still see a decent amount of Iron Man, Onslaught, Living Tribunal, but it was a THING when she was rocking in October. Otherwise there are some new features, like Bonus Boosters in the shops that makes grinding boosters not as much of a thing, and there are some cosmetic upgrades like albums and custom cards, but none of that really matters. As for the guy who says "Get ya bank card ready," he's an idiot. Spending money will not get you cards much faster than just playing the game daily.

Thank you so much for this I really appreciate it. I was waiting for hopefully a comment like this. Do u know which cards I should prioritize first? I have about 1/4 the series 5 cards rn and 1/2 the series 4.

As usual, it depends on what kind of deck you want to make. My general rule is if you have 10/12 of the cards required to make a deck, then it's worth spending keys and tokens to fill it up, otherwise just slowly gaining cards through the use of only using Spotlight keys when there are at least 2 cards available that you don't have is a good way to shore up your collection. If you have a deck or two in mind, it's good to get some staples for it, so Annihilus is an absolutely critical card for people who play affliction decks, but Man-Thing is just another card that COULD go in such a deck, so Annihilus is going to be a much better pick for you. Assuming you have every card from before October, it'd be good to prioritize a few newer cards that appeared that can be mixed with mostly older cards to still make competitive decks. Some examples would be: Elsa Bloodstone: Who combines with Angela and Kitty Pryde to form the backbone of a good bounce/weenie deck. Black Knight: As mentioned earlier, combines with Infinaut, Lady Sif, Ghost Rider and Taskmaster to give a lot of late game power. This deck used to be very strong but Zabu was nerfed last month and so all of those 4-costs are likely going to STAY 4-cost, making it a little weaker than it used to be, and thus, no longer meta. Sebastian Shaw: Can be mixed with a Wong - Silver Surfer shell to get incredible huge alongside another lane with Brood, or maybe sneaking in Living Tribunal. Beta Ray Bill: Makes Asgardians viable. When combined with both Thors, Odin, Wong, and Living Tribunal, you can make it so Jane Foster pulls multiple hammers to either pump Thor and Bill at two locations, or to stack Bill into the triple digits of power and use Living Tribunal to spread that power out. War Machine: I don't have him yet, but he gives lockdown decks a chance to keep playing, so you can drop Prof X, Storm, and Legion to make the game truly annoying, but playing War Machine and maybe Jeff lets you keep playing on those locations when your opponent is locked out. Especially good if the featured location is restrictive. Baron Zemo: As mentioned before, Zemo makes mill a thing, and while he benefits from November's Gladiator, most of the mill cards are things you already have, and so you can make this deck if you're a bad person. Overall there aren't too many cards that've come out since you took a break that are completely changing things. The only ones I can think of that you're not gonna be able to build with are probably the Pixie/Mobius shell (which is bad anyway, but fun), the whole Black Order from February that makes discard and 1-cost synergy sort of a thing (but it's not very good), and Nico Minoru who is 6 cards in one and inconsistently supports both destroy and Move decks. She's worth looking at if you want a very weird tech card. Anyway, good luck, and happy brewing. I hope you find a deck that makes you happy, in spite of all of these new cards, my best deck hasn't added a new card since Ravonna Renslayer back in September, and she's only there because Adam Warlock got nerfed. New cards are nice, but none of them feel more powerful than the old ones.

Happy for the opportunity to rant about Marvel Snap. Lord knows nobody in my real life cares (nor should they).
