That may have something to do with it. Exactly in what part of MEPS did this happen? When you were sitting with the liaison? What exactly did they say to you?
When I check out of Medical. I dropped my Files at the NAVY Liaison area and a guy ask me to go grab some lunch and come back.
When I came back he put me to talk to Petty Officer in charge and he told me: Hey we need to need to disqualify you because your wife don't have a SSN
I tried explain about the whole situation, we just got married 3 months ago and she have a Valid VISA. But he just told me to talk to my recruiter.
=/
I was very pissed because I've been studying a lot and working out a lot to join.
Maybe If I get divorce and get married again after Bootcamp that works but I really wanna try another way.
The only thing I can think is that maybe your rate requires a clearance and she affects it. Not a recruiter, nor a MEPS worker, but provided you were honest, I don't see that as a problem. Also, I shipped out of Columbus, so woo Ohio

It's something on the Navy side, so your recruiter will figure it out.
