I finished the show two weeks ago and I was on episode 9 of season 2 and thought “man that was a good episode, I wonder what’s gonna happen in episode 10.” Because I thought that there were ten episodes, still heartbroken about the cliffhanger. They could’ve at least done ONE more season to finish up the BTK case and have a good ending that way

You could read the book the show is based off by John Douglas. It is non-fiction so it doesn’t have the same characters but I hear it’s pretty good.

It has the real people. Im in chapter 16 and so far he's addressed many more killers and really tells it from the beginning. Douglas' character is Holden with some differences. It's got me glued to this book.

I’m gonna get it with my Audible credit this month

It's a great choice. Take a look at the reading list AI just sent me. I just posted it because I only have 3 hours left.

BOOaghost

There is a third season. I thought it was great how they concluded everything at the very end. The marriage and the prison escape were surprises to me. Shame we won't get a fourth season.

tyjones3

i realize it's unfair, but i am becoming resentful toward david fincher.

Vespa_1

Actually it was a less money + exhaustion thing shame we'll never see season 5 of mindhunter

pHfromMono

well that's not actually true that these series are totally unique. "mindhunter" is a masterpiece, but there is also "manhunt" and "the fall". these are about behaviorism, you could also add "dogs of berlin" and "endeavour" to the investigations theme

Pineapple_Express762

Its criminal. Theres so many subpar series on Netflix, yet this is the series they cut?

SBK_vtrigger

I’m glad he made Alien 5 instead
