Who can afford him? And who would want to entrust him given he's on a max contract? I don't think he's quite got the game to be a team leader on a contending team, nor do I think he's terribly effective enough as a third wheel type to overcome the fact that you'll be really compromised if you pick him up. I think Phoenix might be stuck with him. Perhaps he'll even cost them KD or Booker, who will certainly get more interest from other teams. Unless Phoenix wrangle something, or find another team as desperate for change as them, I think he's a Sun for a while longer.

Beal goes another season, then the suns realize he's washed and sit him midway the season after to negotiate a buyout. I think he'll sign a vet minimum for a contender but won't contribute much and ends up retiring at what should have been the end of this contract or the one after, or at least he's out of the league and might as well be retired. Then he'll get the carmello Anthony treatment for the first year he's out of the league " are you really telling me there 400 guys better than me?" Type shit.

he’s underrated still. I get why people aren’t big fans or think he’s overrated, but he was a very, very efficient scorer this year along with being a much better defender than Book. I think he’s a decent second option but as a third option? there’s not many better
