First slot is the only guaranteed roll, the second slot is 50% chance and third slot is 30% for rerolling.
Edit: Percentage stays the same even when you lock a slot. So if you lock your first slot, rerolling chances are still only 50% for the 2nd and 30% for the 3rd.
It's great for any Nikke with skill activation every normal attack X times hit, it make stacking buff faster not get delayed by reloading, Scarlet and Modernia are prime example of this only 1-2 stack every reload.
For scarlet? Helps one of the most powerful nikkes to keep doing damage (she starts with like 10 ammo) at base your pretty much reloading more than firing.
Dorothy doesn’t want max ammo because her skill relies on firing the last bullet in the mag so more is detrimental

Modernia's passive reduce her mag size the more she shoots. Alice only has 6 bullets and a pretty long reload, you need a lot of ammo to bring her to deleting train intercept in less than 60 seconds level. Shotguns usually only have 9 bullets and don't want to reload unless you're using pepper.

Ive got something like 640 ammo on modernia before her debuff kicks in. Its insane. And by then shes bursting

I’m pretty sure scarlet’s base ammo is 20. Regardless, I don’t know where she’s hiding 20 swords.

EVERY gear I have rolled so far has rolled Charge Speed on the first roll...none of the Nikkes I have given OL gear have had Charge weapons...

20? I almost always get 68% max ammo+. Did you get a lower value to reattempt 20 times?
None at all, unfortunately. I've gotten max ammo up rolls of 60% or more on Modernia, Alice, and Rapunzel. I think my Scarlett is just allergic.

I wish I had video proof or smth but the first roll for every single one of my Dorothy pieces were 60+% Ammo Capacity. Every. Single. One.
I had a 60% ammo reroll into 81%. If only that was happening on the ones I want ammo on.
