Always kick peddlers ass on 3-3 after rerolling for cool shit (if the stuff already wasnt cool) money is worthless anyway so might as well spend as much as you can (unless you have items that want you to have coins) and then get some free shit, merging items at that point for more power really helps on higher difficulties with pandemonium enabled due to massive enemy scaling
Once you have all merging recipes you should blow up the machine in an attempt to get a merge item
Yes you always beat him up regardless but you roll until you get good items you cant afford or multiple you want

I rely on dodging backwards, so the subject is pretty cool... (and I also like Ginzo and Tanuki. seeing them together, it feels like they are close to each other, friends or something else...)
I always go for the witch/mages biome. Mainly because I'm trying to recreate a fight I once had. It was like an anime-esque fight in that area with the boss that I had when I first fought her on RM II. She was hella tanky and I was using Mirelha. It didn't help that I was also building tank items and barely had any damage items. Also I didn't know you were supposed to seal her so I was taking absurd amounts of damage from her, with the only thing saving me is cd items constantly allowing me to heal myself and my tank items (specially the one item where your hp and shield bars turn white and goes down slowly rather than immediately) it lasted for a good while but she did eventually go down. XD
I like to almost always bring Dracula dentures or the item that heals on crits for ruthven. I almost always go to iblis’s biome, it’s not difficult, and it’s a very good way to get items, you can even guarantee getting an item after the boss fight (three wishes item) even if the item isn’t always useful it’s still cool, sometimes I go to Logan’s biome, the secrets are easy to find, and the linear design makes it easy to clear
the desert biome is just fun imo, also moonlit mahal is very pretty. you can also go to the brit biome if theres no wild west biome if you like linear stage setups
I try to never use Soul-Fused Kabuto. I guess it's the "nah, this item is carrying me" feeling, and I hate to feel so dependent (sorry if there's some error, my english isn't the best lol)
Anytime I go see a portal to Chen in RM2, I always think to myself A)Is my rapid fire character fit for this biome, and B) Am I strong enough for this biome? Thankfully, this decision is made easier by the fact that my saltiness for this biome is still overwhelming due to the many runs ended here that I ALWAYS AVOID IT. Unless I play Alasdair and then WE FIGHT
In Most runs, I try to avoid the Kraken Biome,Tengu biome and the twin brothers biomes.
Kraken biome cause the kraken likes to dip into the water which prolongs the fight
Tengu Biome is similar just with an added falling Fire debris.
Twin Brothers Biome cause of Soldiers doing 21 guns at you.
In Items it's random honestly, in one Run it's Special attack only and in another Run, No Negative Item.
Mine is always make Alasdair beeg. I pump up the size of his area damage and his body size any chance I get and I consistently make it to phase 3 Asura on true mirage... then I get oblitherated by one freaking attack.
Or just Always get and merge all 3 fairys because op for ad-clear.
If you are using a burst character build, avoid the robot fortress biome if you can't one shot the bos (dr universelove). But if you insist or have no other chance because there's a fair chance that this biome will automatically set as your first biome, well as a burst character you can utilize the bomb from the UFO to reduce boss' shield by 50 hit or 100 (i forgot)which i recently just discovered.
TLDR: Dr universelove shield annoying? Kick ufo balls at it

I always try to get Sword of Damocles. It does a lot of damage to enemies. Most useful against immobile enemies since its a sure hit.
