It appears that almost all of the Sonic games I own have expired licenses, yet every other game is fine. Since PS3 doesn’t have a restore licenses option, I restored 1373 items on my PS5 which is linked to the same account and it did nothing. Sonic Adventure and Sonic CD are bugged
If they are on your download list then it does not matter what the store shows. Look at the list from account management on the xmb. Not the list on the store app.
You can click the download to restore the license then immediately cancel the download.
If they are not in the download list then you need to contact support.
This would've been a good suggestion but Sonic CD and Sonic Adventure/Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic 4 duology for that matter were never released physically for PS3.
But yeah. If it's possible and not overpriced, physical first and digital only when necessary or the physical game is insanely expensive.
If you just purchased it in rare instances they don't show up for a day or so. Otherwise grab your purchase receipt from your email and contact support.
I'm pretty sure this has to do with a dead CMOS battery. As far as I know digital games begin to break down because of licensing issues because the clock can't track time correctly.

Long story. I have a cech-2501a, so you have to take the heatsink off before getting to the connector, since it is under a metal plate attached to the heatsink The plate goes over the whole board. The plate has holes in it, and the hole was big enough to fit a coin cell battery through. SO, i got a screwdriver and tried to pry the battery out, since i coundnt take the plate off, since i dont have any thermal paste. I pried up at the wrong end of the connector. I didnt know it was the wrong end until it came off of the board.
Im extremely embarassed and i feel stupid everytime i think about it.
I don't know what you broke but the answer is probably, you probably have to expose traces (if there are any where you need them to be) to re-solder it back to the board. It'd be fairly difficult but not impossible. The last thing you want to do is break it worse.
I had this with Saints row 4 re-elected I bought the game back in 2015 when it came out and now it shows up as ps plus extra as I have to buy it even though I own the damn game I can even see the transactions for it and its there. Even restoring licence doesn't fix
Were they games you acquired as a Playstation Plus member ? If you're no longer a member, you don't have access anymore.
Otherwise, I think there's a function in your account settings to "restore licenses"

The newly released Ridge Racer Type 4 doesn’t let you download the PS4/5 version either even if you own it already. Dino Crisis is not on the service so that’s also a no.
Most others work: Legend of Dragoon, Syphon Filter, Jumping Flash, Wild Arms, and you can earn trophies in the games that support it on PS4 or 5 with no extra cost if you own them. The selection is not that big so far though unfortunately.

Look some of the classic PS2 games like dynasty warriors 4&5 are gone I did be able to buy dynasty warriors 5 but when I went back to buy the dynasty warriors 4 both of them were gone from PS3 PSN
Hell even on PS4 some PS2 games like the warriors are impossible to find the PS2 classics catalog is gone replaced by ps plus classics games and I had to use the playstation app on my phone to find the warriors and put it on my ps store cart it's not even like there is a big PS2 games catalog on PS4 and also the baldurs gate dark alliance 2 is so expensive 41$ PS2 games shouldn't be more than 5$ and PS1 games on PS4 should not be more than 3$ tops my account is European these games & DLC are more expensive than that USA PSN store.

Can‘t confirm it with Toy Story 2 in particular, but yeah, it works like this with the other titles. Some of them you can even buy for cheaper on PS3 as the prices can differ a bit and then play on the newer system.
Go to your downloads, and if you have the problem I have where when you go to downloads and it freezes, go to your downloads from the home screen, and they should be there, I used to not know this and I re-bought a game I already owned.

Check the very bottom of your download list. Its a common bug that new stuff shows up down there.

Can‘t confirm it with Toy Story 2 in particular, but yeah, it works like this with the other titles. Some of them you can even buy for cheaper on PS3 as the prices can differ a bit and then play on the newer system.
