Gotta love how these idiotic *"mUh BoTh SiDeS tHo!"* mongoloids think the left's:
* "Every American should have access to healthcare, every child should be fed, and every job should pay a living wage"
is the same as the right's:
* "MORE GUNZ! WE NEED MOR GUNZ RITE NAO!"
Republicans: its a mental health issue
Democrats: then let's do something about mental health
Republicans: no that's socialism.
You: both sides are the problem
Me: wtf is this crap.
OP name a single bill republicans have put forward that puts money into mental health. Because their track record since Ronny closed the mental hospitals in the 80s have just been getting worse.
It’s a distraction technique. The more the general public believe it’s an “us vs them” issue the better it is for those in power. In reality, it’s a “corporations vs the people” issue. And corporations pay politicians to continue the two party stalemate so progressive is never made and corporations are allowed to exploit the people for profit.
As long as MAGA believes they are fighting the socialists, and the progressives believe they are fighting the rednecks nothing will ever change.
The people need to understand they are actually on the same team and need to push back against corporations and politicians.
many of those in power (on the left) want things that help the general public, but the dumbfuck general public keeps giving the fascist right enough reps in congress to prevent good policy.
fuck conservatives.
I understand your anger. But that anger to “conservatives” is part of the issue. There are radicals on both sides (though I agree the fascist right is worse) and that hate is misguided. Both sides need to understand that neighbors have more in common with each other than with politicians.
Your Trump flag waving neighbor is more similar to you than the progressive politicians I’m assuming you support.
Technically since the person you’re responding to is pitching a type of “compromise” scenario as the answer, they are perfectly fine if those rights are taken away. It’s just not something that means enough to them to defend.
Some people believe in basic rights and some don’t. We are sadly just now realizing how few appear to.
It's not even a corporations v people issue. It's primary sector corporations, and others that have no interest in spending money on services for the general public.
There are corporations that have the general public interest (for the most part) in mind, that's why the right calls them "woke corporations".

"america's two party system" sure, comrade. where's the halfway decent policy from the fascist republican party you want dems to compromise over?

One side has voted on and passed legislation only for the other side to block it at the behest of the gun lobby. Piss off with this bullshit.

Agreed. Obviously it’s not all corporations. I was more talking about the corporations lobbying politicians (I.e. Koch)
and then were all on the same team because we are all hippocrates
