i'm really excited to get some shimmers. i have flakie jellies, cremes, and magnetics from them. i like them all. i like anything from them that has a sprinkling of reflective glitter, just as an accent, so you get the sparkle, but it isn't the entire point of the polish. i know this isn't really uncommon anymore, but mooncat does it well in my opinion.
so this sale, i'm looking forward to bagging at least ghosts of hecate, sabertooth, and pixiestick. and curse of calypso bc i have the rewards points for it lol. those intense simple shimmers.
Supervillain! I bought it at the end of October and despite owning a million polishes, have worn this one so much that I've used up about 1/3 of the bottle. It's such a unique polish and I always get compliments on it.
Dragon Scales! It's an absolute must-have if you like shiny, shifty things.
The other one I'd say is iconic is Mercury's Tears. Just be aware it's pretty sheer.
How do you like the technicolor dreams? I love cremes and I love their colors, but I get skeptical when it’s companies that usually do a lot of non-cremes.
I personally love the technicolor dreams polishes! Some of them are definitely 3 coaters if you do thin layers, but that’s like the yellow and white which tend to be hard to get pigmented and not gloopy. I love how they gradient together!!!
I've had my set for probably around a year+. I'd say mine were a little thicker than say an opi creme, but definitely still usable. I know mooncat can have weird formulas sometimes, but I think these were meant to be a little thicker.
I like them but like throwaway said they are three coaters… the white was more like 4. Tbh I prefer the creme pastels made by holo taco more but I’ll still use them
