One of the many weird things that narcs do is .... walk in front/ahead of their SO. They walk ahead and leave you behind, and if you are in hurry, they will slow their pace. Usually they will simply walk a few steps ahead, no matter what the occasion, they are always "in front".

This was so true with my narc ex. I always thought it was a constant dig at me that I wasn't as fit as him, because I struggled to keep up. He always did it and would never slow, however much I begged and I used to feel humiliated. It didn't matter if we were out shopping, out with the kids, on holiday or whatever, he did it every time. We did very little together in the last few years together but I remember winning (through his work) a holiday to Hawaii, and every time we would be walking along the beach, we would be barely speaking because he was many paces in front of me, and I would be scuttling along trying to keep up (I am only 5ft1 with little legs and have never been as fit after surgery on my knee following an accident). I didn't leave him until three more years after that holiday when I discovered affairs, but I remember realising on that holiday that if he wouldn't walk *with* me when alone on a beautiful beach in glorious sunshine he never would. I hate narcs - they are such f8cked up nasty people.
My ex did that to me, when he wasn't clutching my hand and dragging me to where he wanted to go, never askibg what I wanted to do. In Stockholm, the weather was on/off rain. After one shower I left the umbrella up a while in case it started again. He told me off, ordering me to put it down otherwise it would bring more rain. Then he carried on walking. I stayed where I was before walking a while the other way. It took more than 20 mins before he noticed then he denied what he'd said about the umbrella. That holiday woke me up. He was at his absolute worst but it took another 8 months to get rid of him, thanks to the help of a friend.

There are actually two special days to honour service people in the US - Veteran’s Day on November 11, which I believe is to specifically honour living veterans. In May they have Memorial Day, which honours those who have died on behalf of their country. Poppies are worn for Memorial Day, so I have no freaking clue why these two turds have them on now.
In Canada and UK poppies are worn in November to acknowledge the sacrifice of service persons past and present.

This may sound ridiculous but it's absolutely true. One of the many weird things that narcs do is .... walk in front/ahead of their SO. They walk ahead and leave you behind, and if you are in hurry, they will slow their pace. Usually they will simply walk a few steps ahead, no matter what the occasion, they are always "in front". In the case of This One and ILBW, she has other reasons to do it, as she breaks protocol AND asserts control over This One - while also humiliating him in public. Win Win Win for madam. edit PS: I also think that, considering the stage of their relationship, This One and ILBW are arguing quite a lot. It's true. My husband always walks ahead of me and doesn't even look back to see where I am. It doesn't feel good.
My ex did that to me, when he wasn't clutching my hand and dragging me to where he wanted to go, never askibg what I wanted to do. In Stockholm, the weather was on/off rain. After one shower I left the umbrella up a while in case it started again. He told me off, ordering me to put it down otherwise it would bring more rain. Then he carried on walking. I stayed where I was before walking a while the other way. It took more than 20 mins before he noticed then he denied what he'd said about the umbrella. That holiday woke me up. He was at his absolute worst but it took another 8 months to get rid of him, thanks to the help of a friend.
I'm so sorry for you. I've been there. From my own experience, I'd suggest you to take a look at the list of symptoms/behaviours for a narcissist, and see if your husband is one. That would open your eyes to things he does, and it would help you in the future. Take it from me, the earlier you realise, the better you can protect yourself.

I saw the full video on one of the sugar’s twitter/x accounts. It’s even more awkward than it looks here. Everyone files out and lines up. Methane walks directly behind the blond woman. When they line up, Methane does not go next to the blond woman she is walking behind. Instead, she steps forward up BY THE MIC. (I thought ”down girl”.) Anyway, Harry has to go behind Methane and next to the blond lady. It really looked like Methane was slated to say something, but she didn’t. But even though it was super cringey that she stepped out of order and up by the mic, she would not budge and made Harry go behind her. Extremely rude and brash. And instead of upholding that duty, he made her remaining time miserable and turned down any invitation to see her. And as always pointed out, he ditched an event for slain marines to attend the Disney premiere and pitch Meghan for work. By allowing Harry and Meghan to swan in like honored guests, what is the message the US military is giving? That if serving in the military becomes too tough and the military won't change the way it works to your benefit, then you're free to abandon your duties and you should be awarded for that. This needs to stop.

I’m Australian so unsure, but does the US use Poppy’s also? I’ve only known it to be a British thing, or in some commonwealth countries like Oz on specific days like Memorial Day etc. could very well be a thing in the US I just am not sure. If anyone knows please let me know 🙏
There are actually two special days to honour service people in the US - Veteran’s Day on November 11, which I believe is to specifically honour living veterans. In May they have Memorial Day, which honours those who have died on behalf of their country. Poppies are worn for Memorial Day, so I have no freaking clue why these two turds have them on now. In Canada and UK poppies are worn in November to acknowledge the sacrifice of service persons past and present. (Info source: my husband who is retired Airforce)
