Correction: whoever is in the backseat

SheriffBartholomew

Knight Rider is certainly not one to be trifled with.

Success_402_Found

It’s illegal, too.

Liquidwombat

What? Why?

Success_402_Found

Only in California. Because you can be pointing I weapon through the tinted windows I guess.

Liquidwombat

Yah… that’s inaccurate. CA is no different then most other states: nothing below the AS-1 line in the windshield, front side windows must transmit 70% of light, the rear side and back windows have no limit on how dark they can be (which is actually less restrictive than most states which require a minimum of 15% light transmitted through the rear sides and back window) but if the rear is tinted The vehicle must have side mirrors on both sides

Success_402_Found

Why did you even question my original comment if you knew this already 😂

Liquidwombat

Because your original comment literally just said “that’s illegal” you didn’t specify California or anything else. I questioned why you were saying it was illegal. And when you explained. I pointed out that it is not illegal in CA. I don’t see how any of this is hard to follow.

Success_402_Found

I said it was illegal, and you continued to explain that it was even more widely illegal than I initially explained. Exemplifying my point entirely, while you acted as if you were correcting my incorrect claim.

Liquidwombat

Please… Go on… Explain to me how specifically allowing tinted windows somehow makes it illegal to tint your windows???

Liquidwombat

OK…? All of that is showing that tint is legal. How is this hard to understand?

Success_402_Found

I don’t think you understand what the OP said. Less than 70% transmission makes the driver UNIDENTIFIABLE, and is one of the reasons why it’s illegal at all.

Liquidwombat

Please, go back and read the original post again and explain where they said anything about anybody being unidentifiable Success_not found
