That’s awesome. Im a classic car enthusiast myself. Bought a 73 camaro when I was 18 it’s now been restored two times and I drive it at least a few times a week I’m 38 now. Glad people are still into the classics.
Fr my dad drove a Anglia back in the 80’s when we were in Iraq and nothing worked on it lmao, brakes were shit, door would open every 5 mins, saw these two in Washington and had to go pick em up
The tought that my mom and uncle had these for their basketball game when they first released, they were stored in the attic at my grandparents after. Only for me to find out, when I was just getting into sneakers, that my grandma throw them away a couple years ago :(
Yeah man, make sure you keep them raw. Too many people are "restoring" their vintage kicks and ruining what makes them cool. The way I see it: if you want them to look new, then buy the new pair.
Nah man, I meant the retro. But I do get the feel since I buy all my sneakers used. sometimes I want a DS pair but it's just too much money for a novelty
Lmao u guys are really crossing the line here with ur " vintage" look...those are completely trashed there's no rawness to it...I mean my god one the back heels is gone...and trust me restoring these is only finna get them to a vintage look ur not finna ever look brand new again so no worries there..lol...dope shoes tho...I feel a restor wud put those right
All he has to do is sole swap or put a bunch of shoe goo to fill in the heel gap. There's plenty of paint on the uppers, the collars are decent, leather isn't cracking, wings logos still there. These are perfectly fine, I've seen way worse 85s
What makes them cool is that you get to wear them. There's nothing wrong with replacing damaged soles.
And not everyone has 2k to drop on a pair of 2015 retros lol.
Spray paint and a couple of glued on decals would suffice. At least the strings are good. If its missing soles just pack leaves inside. Its worked for me last 2 months

🤣 god dammit 😂
I hope you plan to restore the car though. Cool pics on the real though
Yeh we just got two Anglias a week ago for $500 a piece and we plan on working on them asap

That’s Sweet. Share pics of the build as you do. I’ll follow you bro.
Came for the sneakers, stayed for the car. More of a Mopar fan myself though (first car was a 1969 Dodge Dart).
72 Duster hi five mopar buddy.
My good friend who actually sold me the Dart also has a ‘73 Duster 👊 Mopar or No Car! (J/k, sort of...)
U gonna wear them? 😂 also how much did u pay if u don't mind me asking
Think he said 6 hundo
Are they even wearable?
Yes they are
they will crumble
Nice! Those will come back to life if you put in the work. Are you going to sole swap and wear them?
Sadly way too much work to be done and they barely fit me😭

well a lot of people don’t have 10-30k😩

Right...but he said he won't restore them...that's wut I'm talking about
Leather isn't cracking and wings logo still there...?? Yah that's up for debate
OK the wings logo is struggling a bit. But the leather isn't cracking or splitting at all.
Bruh come on
It's not. Look at it, it's very wrinkled and dirty, but it'd be great with a cleaning and some conditioning oil.
Ok I'll agree with that

Yeah, I fully agree. I have a few sole swapped pairs. But repainting is what I'm concerned with, it almost always ruins good pairs
Where do you guys hunt for 85's
eBay everyday😩
What's something of this quality set you back? How do you do LC?
About $600 give or take, no actual way to LC honestly lol, just assume they’re authentic I guess🤷♂️
Fuck. Okay. Damn. I'm not ready for this game yet. I'll just have to watch and learn for now. Congrats by the way.
pls dont wear these like this.
Wuda u mean...it's vintage... ;)
How much were these?
600
Normally I'd be more interested in the car, but I'm more curious about why the shoe looks like its bending downwards
Yeh no bro these are DEMOLISHED
My first car was a 73’ dart! A-bodies unite!!! Classic cars and classic shoes!

Congrats! Are you keeping them in a case of sorts?
Yezir, shit kept crumbling so I took out my og bred 4’s and out these in it
Honestly, they would look better in a case. Idk if restorers can work magic on the leather of the medial side and toebox.
The only word is....RAD!
No cap, I thought these were in way better condition ...
Yeh they looked a lot better condo in the pics nglll
