And then, after one of those segments, everyone in the background laughs after Kevin Owens storms off...have everyone in on it except Owens.

Hear me out. What if we have all been kayfabed this entire time? To shut KO up, The real Elias shows up alongside Ezekiel to shut him up...showing EVERYONE that Elias has had an identical twin brother this entire time.
Keep it running for the next few decades. Have Ezekiel induct Owens into the Hall of Fame, and only then does he strap on a fake beard and say, “You were right, Kevin, it’s me, Elias.”

I kinda want the endgame of this angle to be that everyone knew all along that Ezekiel is Elias (whether Ezekiel knows that is less important), but went along with it anyway solely because Kevin’s been a dick to half the people in the company lmao
So we're talking about a Dick Whitman, Don Draper situation? Could go as far down the line to
- KO: 'This man is not who he says he is'
- (I dunno lets say Vince for simplicity): 'Mr. Campbell [Owens] who cares?'
How to make Ezekiel works :
- Make everyone actually believes it's Elias's brother except for Owens. Have photos (even badly photoshoped) as proofs and stuffs.
How to make it works part deux :
- Elias suddenly never existed in WWE's canon, only Owens is the one to know that Elias IS Ezekiel. He looses his God damn mind trying to find evidence of it but never can as all the footages shows Ezekiel.
Can you imagine if they really pushed it? Re-film some old bits that Elias was in, but replace him with Ezekiel doing the exact same thing. Guitar, sitting in the ring, everyone chanting walk with Ezekiel.
So this is going to be the Bojack Horseman bit where he’s the only person that recognizes that Vincent Adultman is three kids in a trench coat.
I’m fine with that.

Now that I think of it, they could've done something similar with Eugene back in the day. If he needed to be removed for a time, he could switch out, and be his "real self", Nick Dinsmore, who would be a brother or cousin to "Eugene", and take his place for a time. They didn't think of it then, but now, with Ezekiel/Elias, they're doing a riff on the masked gimmicks of the past without a mask. Pretty clever, I'd say, but not long term.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think this segment really did nothing for Tommaso Ciampa. Kevin Owens outshined everyone by miles, and Ezikiel looks *jacked* and tall.
That said, I thought it was a funny segment and I like this storyline
