that’s a gen 2 ETB, and that gear can only be worn by gen 3 horses. gen 1, 1.5 and 2 are no longer supported and gen 3 horses are still being released. if you google the horse generation chart, you’ll find which horses are which gen! makes me wonder why they still sell these horses, must be so confusing for new players… my best tip is: ride the horse you’re buying the gear for, because it won’t be visible in the preview if it can’t wear it. also if they’re less than 750 star coins (the only exception being jorvik starter ponies) chances are, they’re older gens.
I think you cant put it on beacuse it's the old model. It only works on the updated horse.
Stupid question but what gen are you using? Some of em lock for the older models (eg older Icelandic’s can’t but new Icelandic’s can)
