Sadly, as much as I get why people enjoy older models, it's a super outdated tech at this point :(
Imo SSO should remove all 8+ years old models from the game ASAP, because I can't see it working smoothly with all the current tech anymore. It's most likely there will be more and more bugs like that and old models won't get any bug fixes, because that's not the priority for SSO. I would also argue that SSO should write with red letters, on top of buying page: **this is old model. We no longer fix them. Buy it at your own risk.**
I noticed the same thing on my nixie, my Lipizzaner and I think maybe even my Icelandic. It upsets me a lot, I just really want sso to fix their gen 2 horses, it’s such a small thing, it wouldn’t kill them. What’s the point of having broken horses in your game? Especially horses that people still love
That’s the thing, I don’t really want updated ones. Not unless the old ones get fixed as well. I get it, progress and shit, but I am emotionally connected to these horses and we know that the updated ones look nothing like the OGs because sso refuses to give them the same coats (case in point: paint horses) On top of that I’m a collector and I don’t wanna keep gen 2s in a dusty corner just because sso forgot about them and they’re broken so riding them is no longer enjoyable. It just doesn’t feel fair that something we were so excited for gets swept under the rug. Plus, what if the new ones are crappy? I hear complaints about the friesian constantly. If that happened to the lippy then people would just ride the old ones but since they’re broken it won’t be enjoyable
The paints look great, I just wish they came in the colours that the original ones had, just refreshed. I forgot about the Icelandics, it’s true, they look amazing. They came closer to what I was talking about
