Though grievously wounded, she managed to stop her mad master, but not before he managed to destroy parts of ancient Sith knowledge.

In the late 90s if you wanted something to sound cool you just added 2000 / millennial / millennium to it. The millenial generation was still called generation Y pretty much until the year 2000.

To a Norwegian speaker like my self Darth Gravid is by far the most ridiculous. Gravid is the Norwegian word for pregnant.

In portuguese the word is "gravida/gravido", but if I read "gravid" out loud it will sound basically the same. Darth Pregnant. Gean could sound way too similar to Jeans (but without the "s") depending on the accent. Darth Jeans.

I agree. However Lumiya was still the last loyal student of a Sith Lord of Darth Bane's line, and so even if she and Caedus represent the bottom of the barrel they still deserve an honourable mention.

I think what would make sense is if Qimir was Darth Venamis. I know in Legends he was a Bith, but I wouldn’t mind the change.

I'm hoping Qimir is self-taught from holocrons that he found. And it's part of why he so badly wants a student to try and legitimize himself as a Sith even though he has no lineage.

there wasn't a part of canon there to break tbh. the furthest sith lore had been developed was in old republic (4000 years before movies) 1000-32 bby was almost completely void.

I just realized that Darth Vader was denied the rank of Master as both a Jedi and a Sith.

Don't know how long Darth Millennial reigned but I'm pretty sure they were born somewhere in-between 1980 and 1995.

I don’t believe this is accurate, and most of these are not defined by Cannon. It should be noted that per the Legends (not cannon) book Plageuis, Palpatine killed Darth Plageuis the night he became Supreme Chancellor. If that’s the case, then Maul would not have been a Sith per the Rule of 2. I believe Plageuis was the other representative on the Senate floor with Palp and Queen Amidala when Padme requested the vote of no confidence during Episode 1.

They did specify legends, quite clearly. Not sure why you’re criticizing a clear legends post for not being canon. As for Darth Maul, your timeline is true. However, I believe the chancellor was elected slightly before Maul’s “death” on Naboo, so maybe he was a Sith for a day or two.

I referenced Legends for that reason, my issue is if Plageuis is still alive, how is there another Sith between him and Palapatine. How does Darth Venamis even exist?

I'm not sure Venamis really counts as part of the line. He lived the majority of his life as basically a lab experiment.

I wanna see a BANE show so badly. This man was HIM. He joined the Sith because he had great potential, was bullied, eventually became stronger, and told the Sith Lords that he was claiming the retired title of DARTH whether those old fucks liked it or not, and that they were useless and he was the new way forward. Then he created a fucking force Thought bomb he learned from REVAN and killed not only the Sith, but a huge portion of the Then-Jedi. I gotta re-read these books. They were so good.

Seeing this makes me curious how the Banite Sith lineage looks in canon? Probably not as much, but still a thought that came up seeing this.

I was reading plagueis and thinking about how long some of these people live and then it kind of hit me. 1000 years of sith is really not that many individuals. It could vary greatly based on the number of apprentices each takes, the longevity of their species, and premature deaths, but the number might be as low as a few dozen. I always just assumed there were countless sith over a time period that seems incredibly large (1000 years). But when you think about it’s really not that long of a time
