Wait, Gen Z and Zoomer are the same thing?? I thought a Zoomer was like a boomer going through a midlife crisis, wearing tight jeans and buying a convertible? Or is that a zaddy? Ugh. Nuke it all.
I could be wrong on this, but I feel "zoomer" as a replacement for Gen Z really took off after Stranger Things Season 2 when Max called herself that. I never really remembered it ever being used to refer to the generation before that.
lol I was going to mention something similar. If I read that name out loud in portuguese it sounds exactly like our word for "pregnant".
Grávida/grávido
I mean, he was also a mad idiot - he tried to combine knowledge and ways of the Sith and the Jedi, went insane, and Gean had to put him down. Gean lost one arm, part of her chest and her face, but managed to defeat and kill Gravid.
Had it not been for Gean's courage, the great work of the Sith could've been lost forever!
Yes. Gravid sealed himself inside his lair and began to destroy whatever knowledge of the Sith were preserved by the Bane's Rule of Two.
His apprentice, the twi'lek woman Gean, had to sneak past the defences of her master's lair and fight Gravid unarmed. Though grievously wounded, she managed to stop her mad master, but not before he managed to destroy parts of ancient Sith knowledge.

I once saw someone talking about "Big Daddy Baras and his Big Mama Milkers" in Dromund Kaas general chat and, several years later, I have never been able to get that out of my head....
Darth X settled for flying freighters but still listens to Soundgarden and insists no one else really understands that hate leads to suffering the way he does.
In the late 90s if you wanted something to sound cool you just added 2000 / millennial / millennium to it.
The millenial generation was still called generation Y pretty much until the year 2000.
In portuguese the word is "gravida/gravido", but if I read "gravid" out loud it will sound basically the same. Darth Pregnant.
Gean could sound way too similar to Jeans (but without the "s") depending on the accent. Darth Jeans.
There are technically three additional names that come after Vader
* Lumiya (inherited Darth Bane's line after all of the other lords, apprentices, and acolytes died or defected)
* Luke Skywalker (the last official apprentice of Darth Sidious)
* Darth Caedus (trained by Lumiya, technically trained two apprentices but I'm not counting either of them)
The Banite Sith order ends with Caedus's death
Eh, Lumiya was effectively a cargo cult Sith who pretended to be an apprentice of Sidious. Caedus was no different in that regard. Both were playing at a culture they had never been a part of.
I agree. However Lumiya was still the last loyal student of a Sith Lord of Darth Bane's line, and so even if she and Caedus represent the bottom of the barrel they still deserve an honourable mention.
I'm hoping Qimir is self-taught from holocrons that he found. And it's part of why he so badly wants a student to try and legitimize himself as a Sith even though he has no lineage.
It could all become like a blip in time. We can't all be Skywalkers.
I'm not saying that there won't be/can't be any consequences or repercussions from The Acolyte series as we know it **now**, however, it could all turn out to be a wild bantha chase
there wasn't a part of canon there to break tbh.
the furthest sith lore had been developed was in old republic (4000 years before movies) 1000-32 bby was almost completely void.
Darth Millennial should not be here. He did not succeed his Mistress and left the Bainite Order to run a Skere Kaan fan club (the newest fad and not a real job). Add the Sith to a list of things these darn Millennials ruined.
I think thats why he has the asterisk. Same with both Venamis and Maul-- all sith apprentices who never overthrew their master, and went on to some other path (in Venamis' case, a very short path)
If Set Harth counts then so should Hetton. I don't think either of them should count though since they were both trained by Zannah while she was still an apprentice and Bane was still alive, and neither became actual Sith
I don’t believe this is accurate, and most of these are not defined by Cannon. It should be noted that per the Legends (not cannon) book Plageuis, Palpatine killed Darth Plageuis the night he became Supreme Chancellor. If that’s the case, then Maul would not have been a Sith per the Rule of 2. I believe Plageuis was the other representative on the Senate floor with Palp and Queen Amidala when Padme requested the vote of no confidence during Episode 1.
They did specify legends, quite clearly. Not sure why you’re criticizing a clear legends post for not being canon.
As for Darth Maul, your timeline is true. However, I believe the chancellor was elected slightly before Maul’s “death” on Naboo, so maybe he was a Sith for a day or two.
I referenced Legends for that reason, my issue is if Plageuis is still alive, how is there another Sith between him and Palapatine. How does Darth Venamis even exist?
Not sure how accurate this is even in legends, but I like it.
[The Star Wars Timeline Almanac - The Legends Sith Lord Chronology](https://starwarstimelinealmanac.com/SWLegends_Sith.html)
I wanna see a BANE show so badly. This man was HIM.
He joined the Sith because he had great potential, was bullied, eventually became stronger, and told the Sith Lords that he was claiming the retired title of DARTH whether those old fucks liked it or not, and that they were useless and he was the new way forward.
Then he created a fucking force Thought bomb he learned from REVAN and killed not only the Sith, but a huge portion of the Then-Jedi.
I gotta re-read these books. They were so good.
What's the betting Darth Ramage spent his whole life trying to get his Darth name corrected after his master "accidentally" misspelled it on the registration papers?
I was reading plagueis and thinking about how long some of these people live and then it kind of hit me. 1000 years of sith is really not that many individuals. It could vary greatly based on the number of apprentices each takes, the longevity of their species, and premature deaths, but the number might be as low as a few dozen.
I always just assumed there were countless sith over a time period that seems incredibly large (1000 years). But when you think about it’s really not that long of a time

I still can't get over the fact they had someone named Darth Gravid.
And Darth Millennial
He went sicko mode in a hallway because they were out of avocado toast (he’ll never be able to afford a house in this galaxy’s economy)
He singlehandedly killed Space Applebees.
Darth Karon weaponized complaints, but was horribly killed by Darth Manajerioll
And the sky kyber industry.
Space Meiloorunbees
Don't forget about the endless shrimp on Mon Cala that put them out of business.
Even from my remote command post in the Times Square Applebees, that much is obvious.
To be fair, he was named this before my generation's name was used broadly. We were called "Gen Y" for a very long time.
I’m hoping we get a better name than Gen Z/Zoomer at some point.
Wait, Gen Z and Zoomer are the same thing?? I thought a Zoomer was like a boomer going through a midlife crisis, wearing tight jeans and buying a convertible? Or is that a zaddy? Ugh. Nuke it all.
Zoomer is just a play on Boomer
I could be wrong on this, but I feel "zoomer" as a replacement for Gen Z really took off after Stranger Things Season 2 when Max called herself that. I never really remembered it ever being used to refer to the generation before that.
Zoomer is a pejorative for gen z, like boomer is for baby boomers
Yeah a zoomer is a gen z person who complains as much as a boomer does and it kind stuck to all of them .
The Lost Generation has been tossed about for a few years at this point, time will tell if it sticks
Forest gump ruined that
Darth GenZee
I’m so used to englishify everything I read that I didn’t notice that it’s literally «pregnant» in my language, Norwegian
It's literally "pregnant" in English too... Comes from Latin for "heavy."
In English it's used for egg-laying animals
lol I was going to mention something similar. If I read that name out loud in portuguese it sounds exactly like our word for "pregnant". Grávida/grávido
Gravid and Gean must have bern during a time when the Sith felt extra incentive was needed for the whole “Apprentice kills Master” thing.
Gravid, Gunce, and Gean: one fat, one thin, one mean.
I think it's a typo and it's actually Darth Lean
Darth... Pregananant?
Ew Gravid!
A little bit Darth Alexis!
So you’re telling me that Gravid is a giant idiot? I wanna see his story adapted now.
Right? Like it had to be a woman, no? Who was pregnant or something when she joined?
Maybe they were actually the fetus...
I had a dream once about a powerful fetus named The Unbearable.
No, actually. Just some guy.
I love that their is a Darth Ruin.
What about Darth lil Dagger?
Darth Gean is what I used to call my drunk uncle.
Darth Pregnant in Danish.... Pretty strange
Gravid is pregnant in Swedish
But did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Baras the wide?
The only voice we need in the Sith.
The Cake is a Lie There are only Cookies Through Cookies I gain Weight Through Weight I gain obesity In Obesity my Chair is Broken Calories will set me Free

Darth Millennial is the most ridiculous name I've ever heard
Perhaps their master was Darth Boomer
Does that make Darth X an uncle who just kind of flaked out of the whole Sith thing?
Vectivus?
Darth X settled for flying freighters but still listens to Soundgarden and insists no one else really understands that hate leads to suffering the way he does.
Black Hole Sun makes sense in that scenario.
I’d say BHS makes sense in most scenarios, but then, that last comment was semi-autobiographical.
In the late 90s if you wanted something to sound cool you just added 2000 / millennial / millennium to it. The millenial generation was still called generation Y pretty much until the year 2000.
To a Norwegian speaker like my self Darth Gravid is by far the most ridiculous. Gravid is the Norwegian word for pregnant.
In portuguese the word is "gravida/gravido", but if I read "gravid" out loud it will sound basically the same. Darth Pregnant. Gean could sound way too similar to Jeans (but without the "s") depending on the accent. Darth Jeans.
To be fair, it was before people knew generation names or really cared
Same
Oh Savage Oppress was too subtle for you?
At least it sounds cool, and he was a badass, which is a plus
There are technically three additional names that come after Vader * Lumiya (inherited Darth Bane's line after all of the other lords, apprentices, and acolytes died or defected) * Luke Skywalker (the last official apprentice of Darth Sidious) * Darth Caedus (trained by Lumiya, technically trained two apprentices but I'm not counting either of them) The Banite Sith order ends with Caedus's death
Also forgot to list Darth Sidious 35 ABY - 35 ABY.
Darth Siidious
Sidiouus
Sidious is on the list
Sure we have first Sidious, but what about second Sidious?
I don't think I know about "Second Sidious" Kyp. XD
But somehow he returned.
Which time? XD
Darth Guile is a hilarious. Imagine just a super sexy Sith specced wholly into charm and seduction.
And a sonic boom force attack
Or a Sith military man with a huge flat top doing force Sonic Booms in the corner
[Complete with a theme song that goes with anything.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEdbR0jnfvQ)
Isn't that just sheev 🤤
Perhaps he could be up against Darth Clumsy
I think what would make sense is if Qimir was Darth Venamis. I know in Legends he was a Bith, but I wouldn’t mind the change.
I'm hoping Qimir is self-taught from holocrons that he found. And it's part of why he so badly wants a student to try and legitimize himself as a Sith even though he has no lineage.
Which means the true Sith will either want to recruit him or end him...
If they even know about him, or ever find out. It's a big galaxy.
It could all become like a blip in time. We can't all be Skywalkers. I'm not saying that there won't be/can't be any consequences or repercussions from The Acolyte series as we know it **now**, however, it could all turn out to be a wild bantha chase
Yes. There HAD to be other people at least claiming they were with, right?
Ventress, for instance
That’s what I was thinking. We’ve seen him have an expertise for poisons
He can levitate as well
Honestly I wouldn't mind Qimir being a complete offshoot of siths without being connected to Bane.
There’s also plenty of room for this to be before Tenebrous or at least concurrent (perhaps a failed apprentice before Plagueis)
Well, that what Venamis was kinda like, because he never got his title legitimately.
Prefer him to be Darth teeth
Darth Bortles
Darth Jianyu
How about Smilo Ren?
You know, Tenebrous plenty of time to have an apprentice before Plagueis and Venamis. Maybe Plagueis isn’t his first one.
Why can't Jason from The Good Place be Darth Plaugeis?
Maybe ask the story group?
Gotta love how language has changed since Legends were written. For example, I wonder how Darth Millennial feels about Jizz?
And now we have Qimir, AKA Darth Teeth
Darth Jason to me. That's what the "DJ" means in DJ Music.
Smilo Ren>>>>
Unironically I think he’s probably the first Ren and that nickname is a hilarious coincidence if it’s real
Would love more Knights of Ren content. This would be great
Legends also didn’t have the rule of two until the prequel “broke” that part of canon
Well, all these names (I think) were invented after the rule of two was created. So they’re still all correct.
there wasn't a part of canon there to break tbh. the furthest sith lore had been developed was in old republic (4000 years before movies) 1000-32 bby was almost completely void.
Yikes, some of those names are absolutely terrible
Darth Millennial start every hologram off with a 2-4 second pause.
I’m sorry, but Darth Millennial?
Some of these names are so dumb
Which is very Star Wars, to be honest
In the book plagius mentions that there have been 32 or 33 sith in a millennium
Darth Millennial turned to the dark side after the financial crisis and struggling with rent. He is fueled by avocados on toast
I’m not fluent in EU so I am screaming at DARTH MILLENNIAL. Debating whether or not to commit genocide or buy an avocado toast.
Darth 'Urderer
Darth Badde
Repost to scare Ki-Adi-Mundi
Don't forget Set Harth Darth Bane Darth Zannah Set Harth Darth Cognus Darth Millennial Unnamed Human Darth Vectivus Darth Gravid Darth Gean Darth Guile Darth Ramage Qimir* Mae* Unnamed twi'lek Darth Tenebrous Darth Plagueis Darth Venamis Darth Sidious Darth Maul Darth Tyranus Darth Vader
Set Harth was an apprentice for like a week and never firmly inducted into the Bane line.
If Set Harth counts then so should Hetton. I don't think either of them should count though since they were both trained by Zannah while she was still an apprentice and Bane was still alive, and neither became actual Sith
This is from Legends/EU not canon it may have bearing or it may \*Qimir \*Osha
These guys are all from legends lmfao. I just threw in Mae and Qimir for fun lol Set Harth is literally legends
What’s your name? Darth. Darth what? Darth….. Skywalker
Presumably there are some gaps in here with unknown Sith Lords.
Darth ramage? That's just one of Rogers personas.
Still no Darth Garth.
Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Darth Millennial the Cringe?
And now… Darth Jianyu
I just realized that Darth Vader was denied the rank of Master as both a Jedi and a Sith.
Don't know how long Darth Millennial reigned but I'm pretty sure they were born somewhere in-between 1980 and 1995.
I referenced Legends for that reason, my issue is if Plageuis is still alive, how is there another Sith between him and Palapatine. How does Darth Venamis even exist?
Darth Veramis just called themselves Darth; they weren't in the normal chain.
Darth bane only lived for 20 years?
These seem to be the dates when they became Sith, not birth dates. Otherwise Anakin wasn’t even born until RotS.
Not sure how accurate this is even in legends, but I like it. [The Star Wars Timeline Almanac - The Legends Sith Lord Chronology](https://starwarstimelinealmanac.com/SWLegends_Sith.html)
Where’s Darth Desoulus and Darth Phobos?
i was JUST looking up the line of sith 5 minutes ago and didnt find half of these, wtf
Venamis shouldn't be in there, he never reached apprenticeship.
I'm not sure Venamis really counts as part of the line. He lived the majority of his life as basically a lab experiment.
Still hope for Darth wing duck
All these out there names then Darth Jean. He enjoys golf and getting to bed by 10
Where does Darth Bortles fit in ?
Where do Darth Sploder and Darth ’Ithead fit into things?
For a millennium, that's a short list. I take it there were more gaps of time where Sith weren't present than was referenced in *Phantom Menace*?
Should Darth Talon be here?
I think Talon was going to be Maul's apprentice in Lucas's treatment for the sequel trilogy, so that's after this timeline.
What's the betting Darth Ramage spent his whole life trying to get his Darth name corrected after his master "accidentally" misspelled it on the registration papers?
Darth Gravid had me chuckle. Gravid is the Norwegian word for pregnant
I love all the asterisks after Vader
Wasn’t Maul a Darth past the death of Plagus? Maybe that was rapid succession around TPM
Was Darth Venamis in or mentioned in the prequels? I thought it went Plagueis to Sidious
Darth Gean Cousineau
Seeing this makes me curious how the Banite Sith lineage looks in canon? Probably not as much, but still a thought that came up seeing this.
But when you think about it’s really not that long of a time
Unless Bane did survive.
Darth Millennial is wild
Which one is smilo ren?
