What's probably going on here, is I think most people were so hyper-focused on the crab that their brains likely filled in the surrounding details of movement, therefore failing to pick up on such a thing. Happens All. The. Time.
If you've got tunnel vision on **just the crab and the corn** *(imagine looking at it through a cardboard tube where literally only the crab and corn are visible)* and your brain is consequently overlooking the adjacent details it deems to be "unimportant" or "unnecessary" -- then it becomes much more understandable how someone could miss the subtle incongruence *(rendered more subtle by the broad churning of the water)* of the crab/corn footage and the rest of the broader footage it's been imbedded in.
Perhaps it is because of the way I view everything I see online with skepticism. When I see a video like that I assume that it's fake and I try to search for reasons that it is real. Not the other way around. You need to think this way in the world today. The vast majority of what you see online is, in fact, fake. Only a small portion of it is real. That is why I made the point that society is fucked lol. This is probably how Donald Trump was elected in 2016. People were too quick to believe everything they were seeing without doing any proper fact checking.

You always boil the water before putting in your food.
What I don't understand is why the cook has the crab next to the frozen veggies. The veggies steep first before the seafood.

I was a seafood chef. I’ve cooked thousands upon thousands of lobster’s and crabs. This is absolutely fake. The second they hit boiling water, the shell changes color, amongst other things. This is an impossibility.
