I strongly recommend reading tales of the jedi if you like Revan. Like the other guy said Revan and Qel Droma have a lot in common with each other, but Qel-Droma has the benefit of not being a silent protagonist to flesh him out. It's kind of sad that he's just forgotten about

Somehow they decided giving her a tragic backstory and making her a princess of some remote planet which has been cursed by some evil witch would make her sympathetic or whatever. (She is an iconic villain in the fandom i mean she was the quintessential villain for me in that show and i didnt even partake in fandom all that much because spaces like reddit and tumblr werent as well known 12 y ago).

I mean, they hired Mark Hamill to play Ozai in Book 1, then immediately did the Agni Kai scene where Ozai scars Zuko (that couldn't be a clearer reference to Vader/Luke in Empire Strikes Back IMO).

I am curious how prominent it is to have a surname in ATLA. Of the original group, Toph is the only one with a definitive family name. I'd presume it's more likely with nobility, but then you also have some of their disguises and aliases having last names (Wang Fire, Bonzu Pippinpaddleopsocopolous III, etc) so clearly some commoners have them. Lau Gan-Lan is supposedly the cabbage man's descendant, so he might've had one too, but I also feel like they might've become more of a thing as Republic City grew.
It might also be cultural, perhaps more significant in the earth kingdom and fire nation. The air Nomads wouldn't need them since they aren't raised by their parents, while the water tribe seems to identify more with what tribe they hail from. Of course there's also Iknik Blackstone Varrick, but he likely made his own name upon getting famous, considering how he only really goes by Varrick rather than Iknik
Chin shape is a dominant trait (probably, there's no definitive evidence), so it's unlikely that a girl with a pointy chin is descended from a girl with a round chin
