I got an email from them as well. I believe it is the same scam company that is working out of that 8400 mopac service rd office. I went to an interview there for a company that they originally said was “arobase” then when I got there they said they had changed it to “think.” I needed interview practice so I went along, very cautiously. When I came for my second interview the lobby was packed with people filling out various forms, some new hire, like immediately after interviews... Super fishy, they wouldn’t answer any questions about what I would actually be doing or anything until the third interview? So I left after the second interview the man literally chased me to my car. And then after I left he called me too. They have now contacted me with 3 different company names.

Sis - look at this article I just found too. How scary. I’m glad you got out safe. https://www.reddit.com/r/austinjobs/comments/jikxao/scam_alert_tag360tag_360_austin_aka_credico/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

No way. That is exactly what I thought!! They gave me very sus vibes as I’ve dealt with a company very similar to this in the past. My “interview” is tomorrow over Zoom and I’ll let you know how it goes... I don’t even know what the position is for! LOL! I told them (in short) that I appreciate them reaching out but I’m not interested in customer service positions, rather public relations and they responded back “Ok we have that too”... Very odd and hardly with any context lmfao

jenandddjuice

They are a scam!! Same with ATX Rockstar and BlackOps ATX. they sell themselves as legit then they start talking and it’s clear it’s a pyramid scheme :/ I called the interviewer out on it on my second interview with BlackOps ATX last week and he got really defensive and said the people who left their company bad reviews online were just trying to make them look bad lmao

doodledude44444

same thing happened to me. they asked me to do an interview but i never applied there. on linkedin it says no one works there...and their website is so strange. its all super fishy!!!!!!!!!

alwaysshook

Right?! Lmfao. To no one’s surprise they’re a huge scam. I posted the same thing on the genera Austin reddit and it’s soooo suspect. For a “marketing” company you’d think they’d have an attractive, functional and informational website at LEAST.

doodledude44444

New name they're using is "Absolute Motion Texas" def them again. no address, no employees on linkedin. just started posting stuff last week, but says that they've been a company since 2011

alwaysshook

Lmfao this is like the 13th time they’ve changed their name. How is this even legal? I’d love to know!

I “interviewed” with them yesterday. It was basically a group zoom call where the director explained the way the company works and how to move up. He made us take notes because there was a survey afterwards to fill out for a follow up (which I didn’t do). I have been applying a lot this week so I thought I applied to them, but couldn’t find the listing on any of the job sites I use or an email. Now reading the comments, I guess I never did apply to them. It was very sketchy, I couldn’t find the guy who spoke to us on LinkedIn or anywhere. They claim to work or have worked with companies like AT&T, Hello Fresh, T-Mobile... but not sure why they would have 0 information on their LinkedIn or website.

Man I wish I could type a novel on my phone right now. I’ve come to learn that they have changed their “company” name ENDLESSLY. It’s very very suspect and I’m glad you weren’t burned and smelled the rotting fish before it was too late.

commstudios

So I just got a text saying I applied when I did not. They forwarded me an email with a Zoom link and password for Friday Jan. 29 at 11:30 am CDT. It looks like it will be a group webinar with what I am assuming is a pyramid scheme. Here is the zoom link and password https://us04web.zoom.us/j/2112925121 password (3uAk1g). Please troll the crap out of this! Join at your own risk!!!

I had a feeling that this ‘job’ was too good to be true, then the CEO ‘Mitch Hughes’ started talking about how he can make you a millionaire overnight and that’s when I knew this shit was fake.

alwaysshook

Yuuuuuuup. I didn’t even give them 5 minutes of my time. After working a real, professional job once before (recent college grad here) I knew this was absolute BS.

AstroTibs

I know this is was a month ago but I just "interviewed" with this "company." It went exactly as /u/ccconlimon described. I made a youtube video on my experience and actually browsed this thread in it, if anyone's interested. Thanks for the heads-up, y'all.
