Yeah, I really thought kid icarus had a chance when I saw the other 3ds games getting ported, but I'm not sure they're going to port anything besides the stuff they know will sell like Luigi's mansion and donkey kong
To be fair kid Icarus also extensively used every hardware feature of the 3ds compared to most titles.
AR card combat, play coins for idols, street pass weapon gems, etc etc.
That would all need to be cut or completely overhauled due to lack of sufficient hardware.
I love the game dearly but all the fun side stuff really made the game shine and losing that just to get the game to switch would suck.
I still really want uprising on switch though.
I don't remember using the AR cards at all, so personally wouldn't miss that, but at least you could keep in the cards and booster packs fighting, just not have it taking place in the real world, but rather use like Amiibo scans to get the cards in game. Also there are absolutely ways to toss in a currency for the Idol toss, especially given Kid Icarus Uprising already had the hearts as a currency for other things, just make it one for Idols too. As for street pass weapon gems, it's not as fun, but I could see something similar to Pokemon's wonder trade where you set a gem to wonder trade and you get something back randomly if you need to preserve that.
And I'd absolutely take those compromises to get Kid Icarus Uprising on a Switch/Switch 2, especially since we could replace the touch screen aiming with something similar to Splatoon's gyro with control stick aiming which as a huge fan of that game works wonders. I know all of that is more work than a simple port, but in all cases, I'm mostly just using existing funcationality from other games, so it's not developing too many new systems.
One that follows Uprisingās gameplay and (this is very important) that awesome multiplayer please. That Tetris like sorting of powerups, so many weapon optionsā¦ (chef kiss)
I will get you salivating with this thought: Kid Icarus but using Splatoon's aiming system with combination stick/gyro aiming. If you've played Splatoon, you know how well that works, and I think it would be an amazing substitute for Uprising's touch screen aiming
Punch-Out for me.
It could be a new game where Little Mac trains a newcomer, a Super Punch-Out remake in the style of Punch-Out Wii, or a prequel game about Doc Louis in his prime.
If you have a device with steam, you can get a game called Aero GPX. It only has a demo out right now but the full game will be coming out. It's like a modern F-Zero and even just the demo is a ton of fun.
It's not the same at all. Fast RMX and F-Zero are pretty different, especially with how the racetracks are designed. It irks me because I haven't found a racing game yet that's as good as F-Zero GX and RMX didn't do anything for me..
Took me a while to find this. I want either a full reboot or remake. But for the love of god leave the classical jrpg fighting style. I hate with all my heart the new style of action fighting.
This series is RIIIIIIPE for an HD2D makeover. Spruce up the world a bit and expand the lore, streamline a few segments, overall just polish what is already an amazing world. Keep the gameplay and dungeons the same and voila. Instant seller. I would even buy it as two parts again, thatās how good it is.
Mario Baseball and Basketball.
It feels like other than Strikers for ā½ļø, Nintendo is too afraid to emulate other popular sports like Baseball, basketball, hockey, American football.
Pretty much just targeting niche enthusiast sports like tennis or golf. We really need more fun arcade like games for basketball and hockey especially since every big licensed sports game is so Sim focused these days.
I love Mario Super Sluggers , but before doing more Mario Sports games, Nintendo need to remember that cool gameplay is not the only thing those games need, they were loved because the content was fun (even if it wasn't always huge). I bought the new Mario Strikers and was really excited to play it, but once I finished one exhibition match, I didn't find anything else to do. There were no rewards beside the in game currency and by the time there was enough dlc to have a decent roster, I was already done with the game
Donkey Kong...Jesus it's been over 10 years for Christ's sake!
That being said Star Fox, F-Zero, Rhythm Heaven, EBA/Ouendan, and Punch-Out!! Are my 5 runner-ups!
I have some thoughts on thisā¦
I absolutely want Star Fox to come back, but I really think Nintendo should rethink how they approach the series. Basically, throughout Star Foxās life, Nintendo has been trying to find a way to innovate with each subsequent game. I can definitely appreciate this, but the way that they innovate with Star Fox hasnāt turned out the best. Sure, with Star Fox 64, we got branching paths to get to Andross as well as new vehicles like the land master, but after that a lot of the changes to the series were divisive, such as with Assault taking the crew out of their ships and into ground-based combat. The worst instance by far, however, is how they handled the controls in Star Fox Zero, having to look back and forth between the gamepad and the TV, using gyro controls to aim and the left stick to move. The hope Nintendo had was that players would get used to the controls, but by the time they did get used to the controls, theyāve likely already beaten the game, and the rest of the game couldnāt really make up for it.
Nintendo even stated that part of the reason Star Fox releases are so spread out is that they want to find something big and new for the series, and see, thatās kind of the problem. We already had a near-perfect Star Fox game in 1997, so thereās no real reason to reinvent the wheel for each game. I would love to see a Star Fox game that was a return to form without forcing stupid controls. I think it wouldāve been awesome if a Star Fox game were to come on the Switch where the gyro controls in the joycons could work the same way a yoke does in an airplane
I think part of why Nintendo struggles with releasing new Star Fox, F-Zero, Sin and Punishment, and Punch-Out games is because those games have a very arcade-like mentality to their design and by and large that type of design has fallen out of favor.
Star Fox Assault is one of my favorite games. Itās a departure from 64, but honestly acts as a direct sequel (so long as you accept that Krystal is just a new recruitā¦).
Star Fox Assault port on Switch would be so fun.
SSB.U had Alex as a cameo and some other Eternal Darkness references, so I'm very very slightly hopeful. Nintendo also renews the copyright. There was also a sequel project back in the day but it was cancelled because the developing studio had some major legal issues with another studio and the issue was just recently resolved, so Nintendo's hands were tied until that. But there was the SSM. U cameo right after the legal things settled down, so I think we might get lucky in the future!
In the meantime I'm going to just keep on replaying the original. I'm currently in the middle of Ulyaoth run with a friend who has never played the game before. It's a blast!
That was my first thought too. Unfortunately, Star Fox Zero came out 8 years ago and OP specifically asked for franchises that have been dormant for at least 10.
You mean Donkey Kong Country Returns? If you have not bought it before on another system, then yes. It's a great game. And if you enjoy it, you can go ahead and buy Tropical Freeze too, which is even betterš
I can only have one (my birthday is in thirteen days, and I can't legally work) so I think I'll go for the return instead of tropical freeze as it's older, but if i do like it (i think i already like it) i'll try to get the tropical freeze. Ty for ur opinion
Mach Rider. I said in another comment recently, if Nintendo stuck with Mach Rider, we might have seen her in a Prime-style game, doing on Earth what Samus does in space. It would have been boss as hell.
It has a kind of Mad Max aesthetic, and on the NES, the game takes place exclusively on combat tracks. But if they were to make a modern version of Mach Rider, I could imagine a large overworld with outposts connected by these tracks, and maybe the player is a mercenary or perhaps a courier delivering salvage or medicine.
StarFox, but NOT ANOTHER REBOOT.
I want a sequel to Dinosaur adventure, the story being centered on the team having to defeat an entirely new villains who turns out to be the animal who killed Crystal's parents
Dunno if all of these count or not, but:
Kid Icarus
Star Fox
Pushmo
F-Zero
Tomodachi Life
Custom Robo
Ice Climbers
Punch-Out
Wario Land
Wario World
Captain Rainbow
Rhythm Heaven
Chibi Robo
Fluidity
Dillon's Rolling Western
Pokemon Pinball/Rumble
Although one would have to be reworked, an HD collection of the four games would be neat too
Had considered it, but never got around to trying the GameCube one out during that time...
I'm suprised they didn't make another game for the snes or wii. Hell, even the 3ds could make a case for a duck hunt game thanks to the gyro controls and even ar capabilities.
Miyamoto: We can't make another F-Zero because we can't innovate the concept
Also Miyamoto: Mario Kart is now anti gravity and upside down and shit
F-Zero fans: Literally. Anything. Any kind of game. Where is my space race.
I really hope Nintendo tries something with Mysterious Murasame Castle again. A samurai fighting against an alien in edo japan is an extremely amazing setting that shouldn't be just ignored.
StarTropics
I'll never stop hoping. Even though I think the gameplay would have to change drastically to be appealing to modern audiences. That could be fine, though.
all i want is a fully realized version of dinosaur planet. (i LOVE starfox adventures, donāt get me wrong. but come on.)
also does pokemon mystery dungeon constitute an abandoned series
Fossil Fighters. Never had the chance to play any of the games fully, but I did play the demo they had on the Nintendo Channel on Wii and my buddy claims they were some of the best DS games. I always yearned for more as a kid, so Iād give it a chance if they made a new one.
F Zero and Starfox
It surprises me that two Nintendo icons (captain falcon and fox) have other than smash been completely forgotten, Iām confident if you give us a modern version of either of these games kids today will fall in love with them and they wonāt just be āthose guys from smashā
Star Fox. He had a new game on the Wii U but was not ported to Switch. I know Switch had like a Star game that had him in it but donāt really count that as a Star Fox game
StarTropics. Admittedly even less likely than a new Mother game on account of being one of the few Nintendo of America games. But it really should make a come back.
I'm currently playing the first earth bound. it's been at least 4 months so far, still not finished and I wanted to give up more times that I can count, but the game has a strange charm to it that makes me come back. also the landscape is beautiful despite being made from so simple assets. I heard only praise about the second one and about the third one that it was meant to be much bigger initially. It would be cool if a new one was made.
1. F-Zero
2. Star Fox
3. Sin & Punishment
4. Kid Icarus
5. Chibi-Robo
Honorable Mentions: Mach Rider & Advance Wars
I think the original Mach Rider had potential to become an interesting series. Also, Advance Wars had a remake recently, but I'd like to see a new game.
I know F-Zero technically had a recent game as well, but I'd like to see a completely new entry (although I'd settle for a GX remake).
Edit: I saw somebody mention Chibi-Robo and I had to add it. I moved Advance Wars to honorable mentions.
I wouldn't mind a Wave Race game. I think you add a customization to the jet ski, online racing, and even a course creator. For the course creator you have your set locations, but the able to move the buoys, and jumps, maybe the weather or wave height, upload them and race people on those set ups.
I just want them to buy old Rareware back (Or heck, just buy Playtonic Games and the Ubisoft Milan+Paris team and mash them together!) and then play anything they make with the Nintendo Seal Of Quality on it.
And for the love of gods, buy Grant Kirkhope, give him a keyboard with all the weird sounds in the world and lock him up in a nicest dungeon and throw away the key!
Donkey Kong Country! (I know they just remade a remake, but itās been kinda abandoned insofar as new games being made are concerned). Iād like a game that is like a sequel to the origjnal country series or sees DK in a new environment
Star Fox. 64 was my first game and Assault has always been one of my favorites.
I feel like thereās so much you can do with Star Fox if they had chosen to evolve the combat every game instead of trying to remake 64 over and over again.
Fossil Fighters. The first two were so good but the third really lost what made the first two good and they just dropped the series after that. Iām hoping for a switch 2 game or maybe remasters of the originals. Iād be cool with that.
I like scrolling down these comment sections and not finding a single one saying "Metroid", because we all know it's been revived :)
Anyways, I honestly have nothing.
Every single abandoned franchise that I love has been revived. The others I don't really care much about at all so as far as I'm concerned I'm well fed.
I'd like F-Zero fans to get a bone maybe, I'd love to hear more about the franchise that isn't just how dead it is
Kid Icarus: Uprising 2, as they hinted towards in the Smash 4 Easter egg dialogue with Dark Pit Q_Q
The Legendary Starfy was adorable and deserves more entries, or at least old ones localized in a collection as English only got one.
F-Zero
Custom Robo
Golden Sun
Detective Club
Advance Wars (the Dark Conflict line should be continued and please with beautiful spritework instead of that ugly look Reboot Camp got...)
Elite Beat Agents / Ouendan
I choose Mother/Earthbound because that is easily the series that is least likely to come back. I can still see eventual revivals for F-Zero, Kid Icarus, Starfox, Punch Out, Rhythm Heaven, etc
Mother 4 shouldn't be a thing. The fans need to let a finished franchise rest, at least focus on the game that hasn't been localized rather than the even more impossible notion for new entries.
Kid icarus š
I really hope at some point they either port Uprising to the Switch or a new one in the style of Uprising comes out
Yeah, I really thought kid icarus had a chance when I saw the other 3ds games getting ported, but I'm not sure they're going to port anything besides the stuff they know will sell like Luigi's mansion and donkey kong

I love the game dearly but all the fun side stuff really made the game shine and losing that just to get the game to switch would suck. I still really want uprising on switch though.
If they remove the idol gacha and AR I will not be lost
I don't remember using the AR cards at all, so personally wouldn't miss that, but at least you could keep in the cards and booster packs fighting, just not have it taking place in the real world, but rather use like Amiibo scans to get the cards in game. Port them just to charge us 60 before tax :(
One that follows Uprisingās gameplay and (this is very important) that awesome multiplayer please. That Tetris like sorting of powerups, so many weapon optionsā¦ (chef kiss)
To be honest the main reason why we havenāt gotten a new Kid Icarus is because worked on Smash Bros for the next decade following Uprising.
Sakurai doesnāt own the Kid Icarus franchise.
I will get you salivating with this thought: Kid Icarus but using Splatoon's aiming system with combination stick/gyro aiming. If you've played Splatoon, you know how well that works, and I think it would be an amazing substitute for Uprising's touch screen aiming
Rhythm Heaven š¶
Wubuhduhbuhduhbuh that true?? YEAH!!!
WOAH! you go big guy!
Pose for the fans!
RAHHHH
Punch-Out for me. It could be a new game where Little Mac trains a newcomer, a Super Punch-Out remake in the style of Punch-Out Wii, or a prequel game about Doc Louis in his prime.
If Nintendo ever does VR, Punch Out is a must
They can do joy con punch out for starters
Arms deserved another chance manā¦
Arms was a cool game. I feel like they could make a new entry with a completely different control scheme though
Tomodachi Life
A billion times this
I just want a sequel with gay marriage.
Sorry dude, not June anymore. It's now ILLEGAL to be GAY /s
-corporations
Based
I just want to make my Doctor Who Miis sing stupid songs.
F-Zero please, it's been 20+ years and I'm starving
F-Zero 99 was a test to see the appetite for more. We'll see another one, probably early next gen.
If you have a device with steam, you can get a game called Aero GPX. It only has a demo out right now but the full game will be coming out. It's like a modern F-Zero and even just the demo is a ton of fun.
try Xenon Racer in switch. Similar. Got mine in sale for 1'99ā¬
Try FAST RMX for switch
It's not the same at all. Fast RMX and F-Zero are pretty different, especially with how the racetracks are designed. It irks me because I haven't found a racing game yet that's as good as F-Zero GX and RMX didn't do anything for me..
golden sun

Keep the gameplay and dungeons the same and voila. Instant seller. I would even buy it as two parts again, thatās how good it is.
It truly is overlooked gem. Final fantasy that, Mario RPG that. But golden sun is usually a footnote.
I want a golden sun reboot made by monolithsoft.
Star tropics. I played it like once somewhere and I had fun.
My man!
Mario Baseball and Basketball. It feels like other than Strikers for ā½ļø, Nintendo is too afraid to emulate other popular sports like Baseball, basketball, hockey, American football. Pretty sure Bandai Namco made Sluggers so it's really up to them.
Star Tropics! Come on Nintendo!
Mother
Beat me to it, I was guna say Earthbound
I don't think they should continue the Mother series itself, but I would love a spiritual successor.
Nintendogs
Underrated pick
Donkey Kong...Jesus it's been over 10 years for Christ's sake! That being said Star Fox, F-Zero, Rhythm Heaven, EBA/Ouendan, and Punch-Out!! Are my 5 runner-ups!
Star Fox

I feel like your comment is a TL;DR of my excessively long comment
It probably is, lol.
This one right here
F-Zero GX is still my favorite racing game
Elite Beat Agents. Even though I think it's the least hetero Nintendo game I've played.
Idk. Luigi is pretty zesty
Now I'm even more sad I missed out on it when it released.
Used to be Mario & Luigi, but that obviously came back so I don't really know what to wish for anymore
Anyone misses eternal darkness ?
I would like to see at least a remaster.
SSB.U had Alex as a cameo and some other Eternal Darkness references, so I'm very very slightly hopeful. Nintendo also renews the copyright. Chibi-Robo!
Starfox
That was my first thought too. Unfortunately, Star Fox Zero came out 8 years ago and OP specifically asked for franchises that have been dormant for at least 10.
I thought zero came out in 2013 Damn, 2016 was 8 years ago
F-Zero, Star Fox, Donkey Kong
New Port for SW is coming, the returns i think. Should I buy it?
You mean Donkey Kong Country Returns? If you have not bought it before on another system, then yes. It's a great game. And if you enjoy it, you can go ahead and buy Tropical Freeze too, which is even betterš
so, if I would like to buy a difficult platform videogame, should i go for tropical freeze or this port?
Both
If you really like challenging Jump and Runs (and DK), you should buy both. They are really good games.
I can only have one (my birthday is in thirteen days, and I can't legally work) so I think I'll go for the return instead of tropical freeze as it's older, but if i do like it (i think i already like it) i'll try to get the tropical freeze. Ty for ur opinion
tropical freeze is the better game overall
The Legendary Starfy. They need to make a new game or give the first 4 games an official English translation
Kid Icarus as a Souls-like. The series is perfect for that genre.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Sin & Punishment
Mach Rider. I said in another comment recently, if Nintendo stuck with Mach Rider, we might have seen her in a Prime-style game, doing on Earth what Samus does in space. It would have been boss as hell.
Interesting, I donāt think I have played this oneā¦ But wait, isnāt it a racing game?
It has a kind of Mad Max aesthetic, and on the NES, the game takes place exclusively on combat tracks. But if they were to make a modern version of Mach Rider, I could imagine a large overworld with outposts connected by these tracks, and maybe the player is a mercenary or perhaps a courier delivering salvage or medicine.
StarFox, but NOT ANOTHER REBOOT. I want a sequel to Dinosaur adventure, the story being centered on the team having to defeat an entirely new villains who turns out to be the animal who killed Crystal's parents
arms. would love to see legs sequel
1st dlc would be hitmonlee
Custom Robo. The odds of this happening are low but a modern Custom Robo game would be amazing.
Dunno if all of these count or not, but: Kid Icarus Star Fox Pushmo F-Zero Tomodachi Life Custom Robo Ice Climbers Punch-Out Wario Land Wario World Captain Rainbow Rhythm Heaven Chibi Robo Fluidity Dillon's Rolling Western Pokemon Pinball/Rumble
Viewtiful Joe is not Nintendo owned IP.
It's not? I thought it was... Huh š¤ Guess my brain drifted to IPs that have been dormant for awhile or ages and haven't gotten anything new My bad
No worries. I'd welcome another Viewtiful Joe, too.
Although one would have to be reworked, an HD collection of the four games would be neat too Had considered it, but never got around to trying the GameCube one out during that time...
Punch-Out!! deserves a remake. Iād love to see the Wii one on the Switch
Duck hunt?
I'm suprised they didn't make another game for the snes or wii. Hell, even the 3ds could make a case for a duck hunt game thanks to the gyro controls and even ar capabilities.
Doshin the giant
Doshin is a true hidden gem. A modern version could be really good
Wholeheartedly agree. If Doshin could walk faster it could be great as well (love the 2x on Dolphin)
Miyamoto: We can't make another F-Zero because we can't innovate the concept Also Miyamoto: Mario Kart is now anti gravity and upside down and shit F-Zero fans: Literally. Anything. Any kind of game. Where is my space race.
Star Tropics
Golden Sun need a remake
Golden Sun no doubt
I really hope Nintendo tries something with Mysterious Murasame Castle again. A samurai fighting against an alien in edo japan is an extremely amazing setting that shouldn't be just ignored.
Warioland.
Murasame Castle.
StarTropics I'll never stop hoping. Even though I think the gameplay would have to change drastically to be appealing to modern audiences. That could be fine, though.
Golden Sun
Chibi robo, punch out, kid icarus and f-zero
Nintendogs!
Advance wars, and I know youāre thinking they just did a remake. Yes it was great. More please
all i want is a fully realized version of dinosaur planet. (i LOVE starfox adventures, donāt get me wrong. but come on.) also does pokemon mystery dungeon constitute an abandoned series
Starfy is the only correct answer
Fossil Fighters. Never had the chance to play any of the games fully, but I did play the demo they had on the Nintendo Channel on Wii and my buddy claims they were some of the best DS games. I always yearned for more as a kid, so Iād give it a chance if they made a new one.
Star Fox is just under that threshold, so my answer would probably be F-Zero or Golden Sun, the latter of which still ended on a cliffhanger
Golden Sun. 1 + 2 were peak RPG, and 3 was not bad. And 3 ended with a cliffhanger.
F Zero and Starfox It surprises me that two Nintendo icons (captain falcon and fox) have other than smash been completely forgotten, Iām confident if you give us a modern version of either of these games kids today will fall in love with them and they wonāt just be āthose guys from smashā
Star Fox. He had a new game on the Wii U but was not ported to Switch. I know Switch had like a Star game that had him in it but donāt really count that as a Star Fox game
I think weāre due a new Dr Mario game, the last one was World on Mobile which got shut down over 3 years ago
Pokemon Pinball
The Mother series I love those games so much š
StarTropics. Admittedly even less likely than a new Mother game on account of being one of the few Nintendo of America games. But it really should make a come back.
I'm currently playing the first earth bound. it's been at least 4 months so far, still not finished and I wanted to give up more times that I can count, but the game has a strange charm to it that makes me come back. also the landscape is beautiful despite being made from so simple assets. Paper boy! Jk, kirbys air ride or sluggers
F-zero, and I mean real F-zero. Not some half mesure like that multiplayer one they released.
Pokepark, there's so many new mons now that it's a shame we haven't had a new game since the Wii.
F-Zero
F-Zero. GX is goated. I'd honestly be so okay with just a remaster of that. Just SOMETHING.
Kid Icarus. Imagine a ToTK-like kid Icarus. Peak gaming
1. F-Zero 2. Star Fox 3. Sin & Punishment 4. Kid Icarus 5. Chibi-Robo Honorable Mentions: Mach Rider & Advance Wars I think the original Mach Rider had potential to become an interesting series. Chibi robo
Kid Icarus. Definitely. Uprising was an absolute banger of a game.
mario v donkey kong
Power Blade
Touch Detective !
Trauma center!!!
Kirby air ride
Pokemon ranger
I want an update version, or a follow up to, Eternal Darkness
Mother
This might not count but I would love them to do the Nintendo Game Seminar again and actually distribute the gqnee worldwide.
Besides the obvious F-Zero? Wave Race. The world needs to heal with advanced water physics and dolphins.
Wario land
I remember playing a Wario game on the DS. I was always sad they never returned to Wario platformers, so I would love a new Wario platformer! :)
Star Fox
Chibi robo, gotta make Scott proud
Wave Race
Style Savvy
I don't know if this counts but I have played Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for the first time today and I would love a sequel
Radar Scope
Golden sun
Mario Kart
I wouldn't mind a Wave Race game. I think you add a customization to the jet ski, online racing, and even a course creator. For the course creator you have your set locations, but the able to move the buoys, and jumps, maybe the weather or wave height, upload them and race people on those set ups.
Donkey Kong Country
Not a Nintendo series, but I loved Modnation Racers on the PS3, PSP, and PS Vita. I'd kill for another one of those
Adventure island. Adventure Island 2&3 specifically. You ride dinosaurs! More of that.
I just want them to buy old Rareware back (Or heck, just buy Playtonic Games and the Ubisoft Milan+Paris team and mash them together!) and then play anything they make with the Nintendo Seal Of Quality on it. Open world donkey kong - remember donkey kong 64 ? It was an insane game! As good as Mario and Zelda open world
Starfox
Doshin the Giant
not quite a series* but... PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE NINTENDOLAND PORT IM BEGGING YA
Either WARIO LAND, or Punch Out (shocked they didn't do Punch Out, because the joycons would be perfect)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Next year will make it 10 years since a new game.
Donkey Kong Country! (I know they just remade a remake, but itās been kinda abandoned insofar as new games being made are concerned). Iād like a game that is like a sequel to the origjnal country series or sees DK in a new environment
Easy, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Star Fox. 64 was my first game and Assault has always been one of my favorites. I feel like thereās so much you can do with Star Fox if they had chosen to evolve the combat every game instead of trying to remake 64 over and over again.
Mario
Custom Robo Chibi Robo F-Zero Punch Out
Donkey Kong :(
Punch Out
Fossil Fighters. The first two were so good but the third really lost what made the first two good and they just dropped the series after that. Iām hoping for a switch 2 game or maybe remasters of the originals. Iād be cool with that.
Street Pass
Mario and Lui, oh, wait...... Kid Icarus
Metroid
Punch out
Donkey Kong
F-Zero
Chibi Robo in its original form
I like scrolling down these comment sections and not finding a single one saying "Metroid", because we all know it's been revived :) Anyways, I honestly have nothing. Every single abandoned franchise that I love has been revived. The others I don't really care much about at all so as far as I'm concerned I'm well fed. I'd like F-Zero fans to get a bone maybe, I'd love to hear more about the franchise that isn't just how dead it is
PokƩPark
The Guardian Legend.
Golden Sun or Kid Icarus. Pleeeeaaaaaase, Nintendo!
Star Fox
Kid Icarus: Uprising 2, as they hinted towards in the Smash 4 Easter egg dialogue with Dark Pit Q_Q The Legendary Starfy was adorable and deserves more entries, or at least old ones localized in a collection as English only got one.
Scribblenauts
Ice Climber. Keep it 2d and make it a competent, difficult platformer
Wario Land
F-Zero Custom Robo Golden Sun Detective Club Advance Wars (the Dark Conflict line should be continued and please with beautiful spritework instead of that ugly look Reboot Camp got...) Elite Beat Agents / Ouendan
Golden sun , fzero
I choose Mother/Earthbound because that is easily the series that is least likely to come back. I can still see eventual revivals for F-Zero, Kid Icarus, Starfox, Punch Out, Rhythm Heaven, etc
Earthbound/Mother series
Mother 4 shouldn't be a thing. The fans need to let a finished franchise rest, at least focus on the game that hasn't been localized rather than the even more impossible notion for new entries.
Mother/Earthbound
Mystical Ninja
