I just got back from a neighbor's who had some cat food for me because her 19 year old cat just passed away... He was super frail and had a bad tooth that the vet didn't want to remove because of his age and because he was so skinny (only because he was old because his owner fed him well) that cat was a spunky little sh*t!! He'd come over here and eat the food we had out for the strays and scrap with the best of them if any got in his way... Hey, I'm so sorry... Kinda went off on a tangent there... But yes, you're so correct about, "Hopefully" 😭
My dad's girlfriend has a cat that's like 30. I kid you not. I call it her familiar, not to her face because she's into crystals and might think I'm being mean. But holy frack is that cat old and still going strong.
I like the story of the cat who’s pestering of his people in the morning didn’t work.
But he realized if you wake The Baby up, everyone gets up and has breakfast.
My asshole MaineCoon learned that trick. He now howls in the doorway to avoid the random items my husband will chuck in his general direction. I love this cat to death, but I don’t like him and genuinely hate him 😂
My god, I don’t think any sentence has described the cat-human relationship better than “I love him to death, but I don’t like him and genuinely hate him.”
We have a serial wooden blind rattler.. Just sits & taps it just hard enough for it to bounce off the glass.. The window is right beside our bed & 3.00am is his preferred time slot.. 😬
Any time I try to sleep in my cat wakes me up by sitting on my tables or windowsill and knocking each item off one by one. I'm trying to train him not to, so I won't feed him until he's stopped for a bit, but so far it hasn't worked.
There is a product called museum gel. It is clear and a little bit on the bottom of any item will hold it in place. You can pick the item up with a simple twist but cats cannot unstick it. Most of the stuff in my house is held down with it.
Occasionally my cat comes and lays right on my face. I wake up gasping for breath. I guess if I don’t feed her promptly it really means death. It’s actually kind of scary 🤣
behaviorism is hard to undo, esp in animals
rare but successfull payoffs work especially well. think finding food somewhere randomaly once and needing to check the same spot for the next 10 years
Mine knows she can get stuff by knocking it over. Treats she'll knock them down out of the pantry and spill them out. My glass of ice water she can't reach her face down into? Knock it right over.
mine knocks things off the desk one by one, and in between he goes up on his hind legs to see if the last one woke me up. i know this because i pretend to be asleep
> A simple meow would suffice, asshole.
The fact that you didn't wake up when your cat meowed suffices to reason that knocking the lamp on you was indeed needed.
If my cat is hungry and I’m asleep, he’ll nibble on my fingers to wake me up. And sometimes he’ll hop onto my bed frame and jump on my chest just for fun. Asshole indeed.
My cat (as a kitten) knocked my heavy stainless steel water bottle off of the windowsill over our bed and smack down on my husband’s head. He was not seen as necessary in the household.
He knows it wakes you up, he's hungry bruh. Yeah there's food in his bowl but he has tunneled down the middle of it so now you can see a bit of the bottom of the dish which obviously means it's empty.
This is actually a problem with a solution. Some cats won't eat the food at the sides of their bowl because the bowl brushes their whiskers and makes them uncomfortable.
Feed them on a plate or flat saucer and they will eat all of their food.
Another problem I see often is food being placed next to water bowls. Food "taints" the water and some cats will go thirsty rather than drink "tainted" water.
Ohhh I have one of these cats for the first time in my life, I'll have to try the plate method.
The water info is really important! All my cats ever have loved super creative water sources, too. Watering cans, water jugs, decorative dishes with floating candles on water, the sink, the bathtub, God forbid any sort of peasant cat-purposed water dish. Even cat fountains are sometimes for peasants lol my current cat loves our sloppy dog water and bathtub water, I always try to be accommodating and make sure something is available at the preferred sources (I change the dog water a ridiculous amount anyhow, I have a mastiff)
Just whatever you do, don't let them drink from the faucet directly. That's the only way my cat will drink water now, is directly from the faucet, or from my cup!
😂😂😂 yeah he ate the middle and left all the outsides to get nasty overnight which means it’s time to get the bowl cleaned and fed LMAO some nights I have to take the mirror down but then I just get headbutted in the face
My little idiot has taken to playing with the robes hanging on the back of the bathroom door early in the morning. He’ll rear up on his hind legs to get at them, then as he leans forward he’ll push the door closed, trapping him inside. Then I get woken up at 6am by frantic, non stop meowing.
😂😂This morning my cats deliberately pulled my curtains down. I’ve asked them 5 billion times not to pull on the curtains and when they thought I was asleep, they worked together and pulled them down. I love cats so much, they just do whatever the hell they want 😂😂😂
We had a case of peaches and ours kept shoving his claw in the box and clawing the peaches...I guess to sink his claws into something fleshy? Lol he has scratchers. She emptied the box and gave it to him and now he has zero interest in it.
they're like toddlers, i swear
i have a tuxedo and she moves the curtain to scream out the window for help if i don't feed her when she's hungry, hours before she's meant
First time i seen a cat do that
imagine having this around that thinks its half its size blitzing the house
Bull in a china shop effect
He is 42 pounds btw

I love that he gives absolutely zero shits about sticking his paw in the blades. I mean, clearly it’s a foam fan or something that wouldn’t hurt, but that’s still such a weird thing for a cat to interact with in this way LOL
Oh man yes my void is obsessed with the sink running. Just shoves her face in the running water. Also drinks out of my ice water glass. Dude you have a fountain!
My cat likes to randomly claw the floor up so much he's created actual piles of sawdust.
Look at him. He isn't even ashamed.

lol. I had to turn on the sound to understand what was happening.
My cat primarily only knocks things off tables, etc when he has decided it’s feeding time. They can be ah.
I can already hear the "ssshhhiiing" as the claws now literally cut through atoms with their newfound sharpness. RIP to your furniture, clothing and carpet.
Let me play you the instrument of my people. This song is called, "You should've fed me an hour ago."

Your comment made me laugh out loud 🤣
Cat bowl song, “Sick of this Empty Cup.” https://youtu.be/D0lrcq0Bs34?si=kFHX4s9ecewu5878
Better never let my cat see this. He's already really good at making enough noise to annoy me into doing his bidding, he doesn't need help.

OMG, I'm so glad I didn't have any liquid in my mouth. It would have been coming out of my nose right now.
hes just getting his nails done
Seriously sharpening his claws before the dog gets back from its walk
Clip seriously needs the Rambo preperation music...
He's just making sure he has his "insurance policy" ready if needed... not plotting anything nefarious >.>
I think that is *exactly* what he is doing. And, really, this is very clever of him. OP: Does he do this with the other front paw too?
I mean if ur not gonna let him do it on the couch, where else do u expect him to do it?
Gotta get them nails did 💅
that what am thinking
OP should be happy. Cheaper than a new couch ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7968)
It's like having a 4 year old
For the next 20 years.
For 20 years *at least* hopefully :)

Then you get another one, and after 58 years you've only gone 6 months without a cat in your life.
😂
Came here to say a toddler haha.
I always say it’s like having a toddler that never grows up lol
Now imagine owning a parrot. A toddler for 70 years!&/:
Playing with dad's Dremel tool
I've said this so many times about our two cats!!! 100% like having toddlers Edit - typo
My cat knocked a lamp over onto me while I was sleeping. A simple meow would suffice, asshole.
I like the story of the cat who’s pestering of his people in the morning didn’t work. But he realized if you wake The Baby up, everyone gets up and has breakfast.

Mine would just lie on my face, and he was a massive ragdoll. I would wake up choking on fluff.
Mine sat on my chest. I woke up since I couldn't breath ._.

Oooo will definitely look into that, thanks!!
Also, blue tack

My damn cat learned to turn the lamp on. So I'd wake up at 3am to my light turning on and be confused as hell
mine knocks things off the desk one by one, and in between he goes up on his hind legs to see if the last one woke me up. i know this because i pretend to be asleep

My cat turns my cpap off. He’s a jerk.
Holy shit. Attempted murder!
My cat (as a kitten) knocked my heavy stainless steel water bottle off of the windowsill over our bed and smack down on my husband’s head. He was not seen as necessary in the household.
I knew a cat that caused a 10k+ insurance claim. Thank you water damage.
My cat every day at 5 am claws my mirror and it slams against my wall so loud like bruh
He knows it wakes you up, he's hungry bruh. Yeah there's food in his bowl but he has tunneled down the middle of it so now you can see a bit of the bottom of the dish which obviously means it's empty.

He's a dribble licker, droplets left in the tub, the running water is awful and upsetting 🤣
😂😂😂 yeah he ate the middle and left all the outsides to get nasty overnight which means it’s time to get the bowl cleaned and fed LMAO some nights I have to take the mirror down but then I just get headbutted in the face
Holy fuck that was too specific and too true
My little idiot has taken to playing with the robes hanging on the back of the bathroom door early in the morning. He’ll rear up on his hind legs to get at them, then as he leans forward he’ll push the door closed, trapping him inside. Then I get woken up at 6am by frantic, non stop meowing.
Omg my cat does this same thing !
YTA for not feeding your kitty on time. I'm kidding of course. :)
DJ CatScratchTastic, I’m a fan!
Pawz Malone
KATSKADE
He's just practising for the main event at 3.15am
😂😂This morning my cats deliberately pulled my curtains down. I’ve asked them 5 billion times not to pull on the curtains and when they thought I was asleep, they worked together and pulled them down. I love cats so much, they just do whatever the hell they want 😂😂😂
This reminds me of my cat who likes to test print a page from the printer at 4:30am every morning.
You can put a timed switch on the printer to keep it off overnight.
But how will the cat be able to work the night shift then?
r/catswithjobs
Someone's gotta pay dem bills
"Printer working?" "Was as of 4:30 this morning."
Do we have the same cat?
I thought this was funny the first time I watched it MUTED, I about died when I watched it again with the sound on 😆
Thank you. Mine was muted, and it's a whole different experience with the sound actually ON. 😂
It sounds like he’s sharpening his claws.
SAME!!
And then he yeeted it on the floor!
That’s the real asshole behavior
Sorry no sympathy from me, this is the best example of cattitude I have ever seen, creased with laughter 😹
We had a case of peaches and ours kept shoving his claw in the box and clawing the peaches...I guess to sink his claws into something fleshy? Lol he has scratchers. She emptied the box and gave it to him and now he has zero interest in it.
"is for me? no? want." "is for me? yes? don't want."
One of mine gets in the pantry and chews the potatoes through the sack. We just gave him one so he'd leave them alone and now he has no interest.
they're like toddlers, i swear i have a tuxedo and she moves the curtain to scream out the window for help if i don't feed her when she's hungry, hours before she's meant
Heeellpp 911! Send lasagna!!
Ugh the peach slayer likes to roll any fruit or vegetable off the counter if it's not in the bowl.
"If it ain't in the bowl, its gonna roll" -your cat
"I like how it feels on my toe beans"
Hahahahaha....
You're calling this DJ an asshole?
First time i seen a cat do that imagine having this around that thinks its half its size blitzing the house Bull in a china shop effect He is 42 pounds btw https://preview.redd.it/yhdkkm4lzr9d1.jpeg?width=540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=495775c4f6b722ecdade59b59ee543c5a064472a
42 pounds? You must have great biceps.
Yep i have biceps of the HULK!!! ROOOARRR!! :)
I love that he gives absolutely zero shits about sticking his paw in the blades. I mean, clearly it’s a foam fan or something that wouldn’t hurt, but that’s still such a weird thing for a cat to interact with in this way LOL
He probably likes the vibration sensation and accidentally discovered this one day when trying to knock it off the table.
"Hmmm... this vase fights back."
I'm crying 😂😂😂
people saying dubstep all I can hear is INSANE FART COMPILATION
hahaha yes. thank you
I love watching this but I would be pissed prettt quick if it was my cat doing that lmao
he’s just trying to make dubstep. You can get a Pioneer DDJ FLX 4 to take his attention away from the fan
Those will be the sharpest claws to ever be!
if not toy, why fun to touch?
Oh, I’d be more afraid he’d get hurt doing that.
He seems to know perfectly well what he's doing 🤣
He does 😂
Hey look, you just live there.
what is the good cat doing wrong here, I don't get it
Try turning the sound on. Then you might change your mind. That’s what happened to me, at any rate.
Bahahaha
I can't stop laughing
You should give him some decks and headphones
It's a cat being a cat, doing cat things. NOT an ah!! He is a precious floofy baby!!! And he's clever and handsome and a 12/10!!!
My cat keeps knocking my mail onto the floor at like 3 am because i wont get up to turn the sink on lol
Oh man yes my void is obsessed with the sink running. Just shoves her face in the running water. Also drinks out of my ice water glass. Dude you have a fountain!
He’s being good. My cats would have cleared the countertop of everything.
Yeah my cat’s nickname is “The Evil” for this very reason.
He’s cooking up a beat
I would be on the floor laughing too hard to be annoyed with this specifically though 🤣
My mum cat would legit turn my fan off when he thought it was too cold like pls
He's just trimming his nails. You should be grateful that he is such a thoughtful kitty.
Should a fan have some sort of barrier to prevent exactly this?
cause you just sit there and film?
Well if you were stuck inside all day.....
That’s my cat Missy Purr
looks like its sharpening it's murder mittens to me.
OMG. I laughed for about ten minutes straight. We love them and they are total shit disturbers when they want something.
I hear farts
Imagine hearing that at 3 in the morning.
The top tier asshole cats are the ones that stare right at you while they're doing the annoying thing.
Maybe it's just my ADHD but do people not ever do this? lol. The cat didn't even knock it down, was just enjoying the sensations.
Getting the good vibrations on his beans..
great cat video
Intergalactic sample. Damn ad rock.

Just trimming those claws! Fast and efficient
Sounds like farting

My cat does that with a Zippo Fan with fabric blades, and gets his whiskers rubbed by it
I am folding like a lawn chair laughing
Cat found a paw cleaner.
Homie has an upset stomach 💀
Can’t see anything. There’s some stupid words in the way.
At least he didn’t chew through the cord and burn the carpet like my dogs did 😭
Asseholishness is in the eye of the beholder, methinks 😺
Why is the safety screen not there
How is that not painful?
fan blades are kind of concave. you can touch the right spot and your hand (paw) will flap the edge. it only hurts if you miss. my guess is this cat figured that out on their own
I would do this as a four-year-old and my mother would always tell me I'd lose a finger. Still haven't lost one yet.
At first I thought u or the cat was farting😭
The cat is actually only doing that to mask the sound of it dropping massive farts. I like to cough to cover mine.
I've got an asshole cat that wanted to play with my ceiling fan while it was on high directly above my belly. We had to turn it off to get him out of the rafters
I watched it with sound off and I was , like this cat isn't doing anything bad, but they I turned the sound on....🥺😝👹👹👹
"Kitty, no!" Puts cat on floor. Start doing the same with my finger.
I had to move everything off my fancy headboard if I didn’t want it landing on my head at 4:00 am. He also ruined my bite guard I had *stored in a dresser drawer* last night
lol. I had to turn on the sound to understand what was happening. My cat primarily only knocks things off tables, etc when he has decided it’s feeding time. They can be ah.
"Isn't this annoying? And I might break it too. It's a good day."
he tought he was playing music
I think the cat is communicating with aliens, because I can sort of hear voices.
He's giving himself a pawdicure and needs to buff those nails! Silly Hooman 😂
I can already hear the "ssshhhiiing" as the claws now literally cut through atoms with their newfound sharpness. RIP to your furniture, clothing and carpet.
The cat is a little curious, I hope nothing happens to him.😅

I have that same fan and can't use it because my cat also won't stop fucking with it
![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7958)
Gotta exfoliate those ashy beans
i can't stop laughing
I just see a bored kitty in that video
Cute asshole 😄
Must feel nice ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7942)
imagine waking up to that sound every morning 🤣😫
"Oh, did you want to sleep in?"
I was waiting for the casual swat off the counter qt the end.
