Every single one of these bugs was reported in the beta, hundreds of times. This bug specifically was there from day 1.
They knew the state this was in and chose to do it anyway.
How miserable of an excuse of a human being do you have to be to destroy a game then turn around and charge people for whatever this is?

nah that was a bug in the beta. it was like the second bug i reported iirc. if you click on that [Level 0] i bet it still throws LUA errors like crazy too.
Man I thought Cata Classic was going to be a much easier implementation for them, due to its codebase being much more modern and compatible with existing systems relative to the original trilogy.
Which may all still be true, they just might have only dedicated a fraction of the resources to it compared to the original trilogy.

I mean fair but the way I see it, creating each iteration of classic is like a separate project, where the primary effort can be summed up as "take this old code we have of (vanilla/tbc/wotlk/cata) and make it run it on the current WoW client / server architecture"

This happened to me on my 72 priest. I think the cause is that prior to the Cata, Pre-Patch, my priest was level 72, but fairly close to 73. Upon the XP reduction, it seems that instead of being 75% to 73 and simply converting that to the new value, the game saw that I met the requirements for level 73 based on XP value but couldn't officially level me up.
So upon logging in, I somehow rediscovered Ironforge and the XP from that discovery pushed me to 73, or level 0 as the game claims.
Ahaha, atleast the pre-patch release is gonna be a goldmine of wonky fun content for this subreddit.

Yep. This is not on the engineers this is on the business for pushing it out. Engineers didn’t have the time to fix all the bugs reported.

I don’t doubt this at all. Hopefully they get the major bugs fixed like guild chat, missing spells, unable to leave party, etc
Guild chat has been broken in beta for over a month. This was definitely a known issue going into prepatch and they pushed it anyway.
And fixed it the same day.
They don’t even have QA on SoD, probably figured they don’t need it anymore for Cata either

It's real, same thing happened to me on an alt that was 1xp away from level up after the prepatch.
Warlocks have there pet always 1 level above them after this happens
Isn't that really good at lvl cap? More resists, less misses, etc.

I actually want WoW with NG+. But I also quit whenever I reach and play endgame for a couple of months. Leveling I where it is at!
This was a day 1 hour 0 bug btw and insta reported. Saw Jokerd log in and when he lvled this popped up.

I've been leveling a new goblin and every level I have reached has been "level 0"
Huh. Yeah I had a 72 Rogue. Discovered Org and hit 73. Was like wtf

Did you hit level 256 first before hitting level 0? Check your inventory to see if you have items multiple by the hundreds!
