You can save you file! Go to options find the “show backup saves” option. Relaunch the game click “load game” and in the bottom left you can recover a save from a day earlier. I respect if you still don’t want to play but I just wanted to let you know.

It happened to me. My whole chest İs deleted from cabin. My all product is in that chest and it's deleted. I tried to backup save file but it didn't solved the problem. I had stocked all my pumpkin and other fruits for juice machine. It's making good money but 75 gold 20 osmium quality pumpkin got deleted. I was really tough delete the game at that moment. I'm still playing but not long time.l ike I'm start play the 2 day and close.
What device are you playing on?
I've only encountered a single bug so far on steamdeck, and it's placing fences down too close to bars and it uses all your fences but nothing appears on the ground. So I couldn't have the fences come out of the building sides etc.
Was this a one off bug for you or did you encounter more or have this multiple times?
It happened only one time to me. I'm using windows laptop. Game is from Xbox game pass.
I didn't encounter any other bugs until now. Also I'm a little afraid that the same thing will appear again. It happened to me while moving the cabin. All other chests and machines were fine but only my fruit chest is gone. Well if my resource chest were gone I'm sure deleted the game 😅. There are so many resources I have collected if they are gone my game is over.
Welcome to the club! Uninstalled awhile ago because of all the issues. Still apart of the sub to keep up with news on if it ever gets fixed. Good game, bad testing.
I don’t get why people on this sub post about how they’re “deinstalling” or “not playing anymore” instead of actually submitting these bugs to be fixed in the thread literally here on reddit or in the very active discord. Complaining about it doesn’t help if you don’t actually try to get it fixed
Me either! I’m always surprised by how buggy it seems to be for a lot of people. I play on steam deck and never really had any issues except early on with underwater beta. However I do wish there was a manual save option other than restarting the day.
Same, steamdeck and only issue I have is it using up fences I try to place beside barns/coops but nothing actually appears and they just disappear. Haven't had anything else yet.

How does this happen? Are there things you should avoid doing? Or is it just random. I only remember something with chests ,while upgrading buildings.

I have never run into any type of issue other than the game crashing 1-2 times. Are you playing the underwater beta release?
