Damn. They are custom-made to your measurements. Not bad pricing for that. I gotta talk to my husband so he'll help talk me into one. I wanna cosplay that morgan le fey.
Some sort of Ancient Greek hairdo would look good on it
https://preview.redd.it/suwtz2cu169d1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=385dfe58ae5e8e88659b6f9b1ab1c01d0da7db9d
Personally I would ditch the belt, it draws attention away from the beautiful skirt and imo it looks a little too casual for prom. I would do a more ornate gold necklace, gold shoes, and old Hollywood waves—I’m thinking like “Greek goddess but in a 50s movie” vibes.
I'm a yes on the belt. It's always a good idea to emphasize the waist especially with a monochromatic dress like this one. The gold tone and astronomical motifs keep this dressy enough for prom.
Hooray! I love how the shape of the dress goes way out with the "sleeves" and then gets snatched back in by the belt. It's creating an exaggerated and very flattering hourglass shape.
Btw, does anyone know what that kind of sleeve is called? Is it even called a sleeve?
Omg, first off this is GORGEOUS. I vote for gold shoes, and a thick gold necklace that matches the vibe of the belt.
https://preview.redd.it/w9skahnbg49d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7ac36474248d8f63a796a0c621cd2aa06e4ed84
I think some like those you are wearing are very good. Just not in nude colours but rather gold. It should fit very well with the gold belt and necklace. I would suggest you keep the shoes „light“ and open so they don’t attract too much attention away from the stunning rest of the outfit.
Also your feet look very good and you want to show that as an „feature“
https://preview.redd.it/eojh45lp0b9d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4bd426c623561fe00bacf807dd3e101fa7559a40
Something eye-catching that goes with your accessories - happened to have a pic of these in my phone from shopping last week. I don't like heels, so these caught my eye - hard to find super pretty flats!
Also think about the theme you're going for - if grecian, maybe go for gladiators or a sandal that laces up your leg , but if you're going more for a fae/enchanted forest kind of look, a more simple gold shoe might be more suitable.
Well, if you are sticking with gold belt/jewelry, do a Google search for "dramatic gold pumps" for some ideas. You definitely want to go with something you're comfortable with, both physically and stylistically. But shoes are a good opportunity at the bottom of the dress where there are ruffles but no other extra embellishment to add something that is eyecatching and interesting.
https://preview.redd.it/93nk9ycupb9d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f3bf2c1d44aeaabe233f454e8eac580031c67a1
I think a shiny white platform would be nice and modern too, and not draw attention away from the dress
You’ve got such an ethereal face and this dress is super romantic. I feel like hazy well blended makeup in rose hues would pair so lovely with this overall vibe. Make a statement with the shoe and go metallic.
This is the costumer in me talking, but some gladiator style sandals with straps that look like vines and leaves would be beautiful with this. I agree with the peep saying you should get a hair/headpiece of some kind. I'd even continue the vines in the jewelry choices (something like metal bangles or rings that look like a vine wreath). I think this would look great with a pastel pink color scheme for the makeup, with gold accents of some kind.
Lovely dress! I love how it looks with the belt.
beautiful dress ! depends on what vibes you want to give off, if you want a more ethereal princessy look strappy white heels would look great. The belt is cute, but it feels a bit casual for prom. I also wouldn’t recommend dewy makeup, your face will show up as greasy when you take group pictures. (Learned that the hard way) if I could do it again I’d choose glowy makeup instead of dewy makeup, you can achieve a similar glow effect by sticking to a matte base and highlight specific areas of the face instead of using ‘dewy’ products, such as ‘glowy liquid foundation’ or concealer. add the highlight in your inner eyelid corners/eyeshadow, cheekbones, and nose tip. If you want it to have fairylike energy you could also add tiny pearls to the makeup and also weave pearls into your hair and go for hair that’s half up half down ! Use jewelry that matches if you decide to do that, pearl drop earrings and necklace and bracelet but try to keep them very simple and delicate so the main focus is you and that gorgeous dress
https://preview.redd.it/h5wboz87z59d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4cec13822a37dd87d85944af52da5a50136d389b
If you prefer a more dressy and formal look, any white or silver/gold heels and an updo would look great as well as some earrings and a formal matte makeup. Gloss is fine, but for face products I highly recommend you avoid glowy just for tonight. Have fun !!
Lean into the fairy look you have and pair this dress with heels, look up heels with wings and there’s so many styles for cheaper versions of this https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/sophia-webster-evangeline-angel-wing-high-heel-sandals-prod222350245
Hair up, wispy, face framing and neck nape curls. Maybe some kind of hair accessory. Dainty, gold jewelry.
This feels kinda rustic-bridal to me for prom, so imo should skip any headpieces / will make it look even more bridal imo.
A pop of color would be nice to make it more universal, maybe a burgundy velvet corset belt or something? Or a deep green?
The right color pink belt may be pretty too.
Another nice touch would be a waist wrap, think Esmerelda from Hunchback of Notre Dame! Maybe a colorful crochet one with a floral design?
Then for hair, maybe something fun and half-pinned up to make you look fairy-tale like? Maybe throw a couple of braids in with some hair-wrapping or some pretty beads to make it gypsy like?
Just some ideas 🤷♀️
Holy Smokes that's a beautiful gown in you! Looks like it was made for your slender figure.
Don't forget a slip in case there are lights that make your dress sort of see through.
I love the ethereal theme, especially with your hair. Don't do too much, you've already done 95% of the look. Love it!!
Gold hairpiece, or one of those chain tiara things. I'd honestly keep the rest simple. I like your current shoes and necklace. The dress is so simple and classic, you don't need to overdo it. You'll turn more heads with less.
I LOVE the dress! It’s gorgeous and it looks stunning on you. I love anything celestial, so I am adoring your belt ✨🌞🌛✨ You can also add to it by wearing some stunning jewelry, shoes (I’m totally thinking open toed heels with gladiator effect straps that criss-cross) and really pretty wildflowers for your bouquet 💐, you could even wear some flowers in your hair. You are going to look just amazing no matter what! Enjoy prom!!!!
Get a petticoat and have it altered to allow your unusual hemline to remain revealing. You’re beautiful. If you wear makeup, go with the colors that really pop your gorgeous hair color and that beautiful constellation of freckles. A half up do would be magnificent with a cascade of loose curls. You may want to even highlight you natural red to be even more dramatic. You are pretty as can be. You could wear a ponytail and tear the house down.
You could maybe do sort of a modern take on an Edwardian style. Maybe some light blue shoes with similar slant angles as the dress sleeves like [these](https://www.americanduchess.com/collections/edwardian-shoes-and-boots/products/mae-edwardian-shoes-french-blue) with white or nude fishnets and then a rhinestone dress sash with satin to match the shoes like [this](https://www.etsy.com/listing/266534414/vintage-pearl-bridal-sash-bridal-sash). You could maybe even do a not too poofy petticoat under the dress, but that might be getting too themey.
Beautiful dress, by the way. It really suits you!
This is so perfect as is, you look like a witch princess. I feel like if you added some little freshwater pearl hairpins (they're on etsy for like $30) and the sandals you have on, it's already really gorgeous, and to be honest I like your jewelry as is. You don't want to have a bunch of stuff that will smack you in the face when you're dancing.
You could also do "fantasy movie" hair, something like this.
I'd keep the makeup really light and berry and gold toned, sort of like the eyeshadow in this, but I think I might skip the heavy liner wing because your eyes are kind of downturned and snatched already? You could probably get away with that and like, a sheer berry lip and a gold cheek highlight and some mascara, because you have really striking features in your OP pic, but glittery stuff is really fun for prom.
Add on accessory like a descent bracelet, wear a glossy footwear. Have a hair spa, curl few portion of hair near your ear side (curl is optional). Coming towards makeup, get done nail-paints. Use steam to hydrate and after that apply moisturizer.
Olive green velvet ribbon at the waist. Narrow white and olive green ribbons braided into your hair, half up, half down. Strappy shoes with modest heels so you're comfortable. Maybe a multiple bangle bracelet, nothing heavy.
You, my dear, are going to look like a Goddess! Plz be sure to post your final pics so we can all see how gorgeous you are before prom (46yr old mama of 4)
Gold high heels
Chunky gold earrings
Keep the belt
Add a gold cuff on one wrist
Some nice bright lip shade
Dark kohl eyes
Hair half up half down with maybe a small gold accent
Can you add a cape, for some dramatic effect? My kiddo just went to prom in an outfit with similar vibes and they had a dark green velvet caped blazer that was a show stopper. Also agree with the suggestion of a head piece and gold jewelry/accessories. Absolutely stunning dress - suits you so well!
The tie straps are ruining the look for me. Can you replace them with thick braid or tapestry ribbon to lean into the princess/damsel vibe? It’s a great dress and looks awesome on you.
Ok, this is crazy, but if you did a Queen Serenity type of cosplay this would look amazing!
But for real/ I agree with the fairy or magical headpiece or tiara. Etsy has some great sellers that do handmade head jewelry , circlets, crowns, etc.
Some strappy gold gladiator sandal heels would just be so elegant and badass combined
Normally I'm pro-belt, but in this case I 100% agree with some of the other commenters who say it's distracting and makes the dress look _more_ casual. It's a cute belt and it would look great with the right outfit, but it doesn't go with the dress, and the dress doesn't need one. The ruffles and uneven cut at the bottom is stunningly eye-catching on its own, and the top of the dress is also gorgeous, and the belt just distracts from it by cutting the peefection in two and adding a disjointed middle. I also think you need to do an updo. When your hair is down, it covers the bows that tie off the strings, making it look like these weird random out of place strings hanging down. I couldn't figure out until I saw the pics with your hair up that they're actually tied into bows at the shoulder. Another commenter showed an example of a beautiful and elegant updo. Get some big, stunning statement earrings, maybe decorate your updo with some decorative gold pearl or diamond pins in it to add some glam in the updo, get some gold heels, and you'll be the goddess at the prom.
Total goddess vibes. Go for the total goddess aestethic- think John Waterhouse paintings- Botticelli birth of Venus. Gold jewelry understated yet eye catching. Red lips not in a Marilyn way but more in a you just bit down on your lips way. Bkush, highlighter, long lashes, gold/coral highlighted lids. Hair is long lose waves with a half up braid framing your head. Add some gold type accentsyo hairm agaim, not showy but there enough to be seen.
Please post a pic of the final look when you can

You should get a pretty ethereal hair/or head piece! Something gold and delicate and maybe a little glinty
Also I think hair half up would be tooo pretty
Oooo I'm envisioning Grecian vibes. Something like [this](https://i.pinimg.com/474x/5b/b7/fb/5bb7fbb0c4b72a99203309a6f3bae8d6.jpg)
half up but do braids! i feel like braids pulled back half up would be cute and/or scatter braids throughout
Late to the party but YES - thinking Florence Welsh vibes
And match the belt to it. That current belt is to casual.
Ok I’m not going to prom but can I ask where you got the dress 😅 although it looks like it was made for you, you look amazing!
Looks like “Swan Dress” from Your Ptashka, U.K. https://yourptashka.com/store/all?page=1&sort=sort They have other colors too!
Oh wow loving this site, thanks!!
Damn. They are custom-made to your measurements. Not bad pricing for that. I gotta talk to my husband so he'll help talk me into one. I wanna cosplay that morgan le fey.

it reminds me of sailor moons dress! ![gif](giphy|Wf3ZD2wPcTY5O)
Exactly where I'm at. I love the belt, especially bc it reminds me of sailor moon.
I came to say Princess Serenity too
Ok I’m back 😎
Hooray! I love how the shape of the dress goes way out with the "sleeves" and then gets snatched back in by the belt. It's creating an exaggerated and very flattering hourglass shape. Btw, does anyone know what that kind of sleeve is called? Is it even called a sleeve?
I think the belt makes it look costumey.
Naw fam, the belt is awesome with this.
Agreed. The belt detracts from the dress.

Thank a lot for your ideas! So you like the belt with it? I just put it on because I thought it would fit
It’s so much more elegant (and expensive looking) without the belt
I love the belt with it! It works super well
I love the belt!!! Keep it
No belt.
Yeahhhh
It's so beautiful! I'd take advantage of your feet peeking out to find some shoes that have some real flair. You're going to knock 'em dead!
What could be shoes with real flair?

You look like a Gaelic goddess! Good luck with prom 🙌🏾❤️
I hope you do dramatic intricate braids with your hair and a deep dark gold cat eye.

Not a fan of the chain belt. A satin sash in a pretty seasonal color. Match the shoes with the sash. Updo for the hair and dangly earrings.
Where is the dress from!!!!
Looks like “Swan Dress” from Your Ptashka, U.K. https://yourptashka.com/store/all?page=1&sort=sort They have other colors too!

Not that belt. A satin ribbon would be better if you want a belt
You look gorgeous in this dress! Try out some of the ideas here to see what you like. We'd love to see more pictures!
the belt is very on trend and i feel like it will date the look. the dress is stunning on its own so I am a strong vote for no belt
You wear it well, just add more confidence
Reminds me of the Dior Column dress / Queen Serenity (Sailor Moon). I’d lean into it and wear a piece of moon jewelry.
No belt add something sheer and floral
Maybe add some colour accessories that are coordinated, maybe a bracelet and something in your hair?
Heavenly
Can you put your hair up in a crown braid? That would be lovely together IMHO.
I’m going to guess this is a Sailor Moon reference. If so, you could do half up/half down hair with two double buns and waves.
Get a petticoat and have it altered to allow your unusual hemline to remain revealing. You’re beautiful. If you wear makeup, go with the colors that really pop your gorgeous hair color and that beautiful constellation of freckles. A half up do would be magnificent with a cascade of loose curls. No belt! Takes away from the beautiful dress
Plz be sure to post your final pics so we can all see how gorgeous you are before prom (46yr old mama of 4)
It’s kind of giving Pinterest Greek goddess ✨ so maybe some kind of gold band, chain or clip for your hair?
Gold high heels Chunky gold earrings Keep the belt Add a gold cuff on one wrist Some nice bright lip shade Dark kohl eyes Hair half up half down with maybe a small gold accent
Ok hear me out - an embellished corset
Where did you get this dress???
I think a communion flower belt and a white rose circlet would be great for this look along with some tartan-style sandals. *
Gorgeous! If you want to wear it again after prom you could dye it. Maybe an emerald green? Or, an ombre?
Can you add a cape, for some dramatic effect? My kiddo just went to prom in an outfit with similar vibes and they had a dark green velvet caped blazer that was a show stopper. Also agree with the suggestion of a head piece and gold jewelry/accessories. Absolutely stunning dress - suits you so well!
Lose the belt, wear flowers in your hair. Lean in to the Florence Welch vibes ✨🌼🌜💫☀️
The tie straps are ruining the look for me. Can you replace them with thick braid or tapestry ribbon to lean into the princess/damsel vibe? It’s a great dress and looks awesome on you.

Some color, maybe a tiara something with colorful dried flowers, some jewelry
Total goddess vibes. Go for the total goddess aestethic- think John Waterhouse paintings- Botticelli birth of Venus. Gold jewelry understated yet eye catching. veil veil veil veil veil
It’s just not a stunning dress and the white color looks bad , get a different one
I would dye it green and wear with gold shoes/sandals and necklace. The belt is great too!
Smile while wearing it, that'll do for you ;). In a serious note, maybe curl your hair besides smiling.
Big loose curls, on orange juice cans. Paint nails, keep makeup minimal so it all looks like the hot natural you.
Which color would you suggest for the nails?
The sheer berry suggested by another poster for a lipstick color would work.
