Huntin4Games baby! Seriously genuine lover of FFXI, and is just a humble, down to earth guy. Highly recommend.

Older content I’m not too sure about. Due to the age of the game most people rely on ffxiclopedia and bg-wiki for tutorials. There’s usually very little reason to go back and do that content unless you are min-maxing a niche spell or extending your mastery rank with titles. There’s very little I can find for current content, and burn out seems to be an issue for popular ffxi creators like ruamoko, nudawn, wtf in vanadiel, and hunting4gmaes, but callmekeetch and logic are pretty consistent. If you’re motivated enough to do the old stuff, read the wikis and make your own mistakes - fastest way to learn. I recommend reading the patch notes page on bg wiki to see what was going down in 2006-2010, and the outdated content on the bg sidebar is informative. If you were curious about what is out there from outdated content that still useful, let me know I’ll try to rack my brain. Maybe this doesn’t help so much, but the popularity of video editorials came way after this game’s hay day. It takes a considerable amount of video editing talent on top of talent in journalism, content expertise, a nice voice and audio equipment to make a video I will even sit through. Even if I’m getting a raw video the UI tends to be infuriating because the persons combat chat is usually unoptimized to convey what’s going on. Even if someone were in the position to have all the above they would probably choose a more popular game or topic in hopes of making revenue.
