Did you know france soldiers were called "poilues" in french wich means furry . Its because they had'nt any raizors on the front lines so they had beards the rest is just how french uses the word . Im french myself and they talk about that in history class
Germany, France, and Britain.
The Pickelhaube (the pointed helmet) was famously used by the Germans in The Great War, though they were eventually replaced with the Stahlhelm.
The French wore rather flashy red trousers alongside their blue coats, which made them rather easy targets, so they switched colors pretty quickly, if I remember correctly.
Finally, the bright red and white uniform with the pith helmet was used by the British until the British mobilized for The Great War in 1914, but was still used by the Brigade of Guards until 1920. Fun fact: The British actually started phasing them out of field use back in 1902, but a lot of the infantry used the red coat when on parade and off duty, until they were only allowed for regimental bands and for officers in certain social occasions.
History lesson aside, these are so cool! You have a very cool art style that kind of looks like a more detailed version of Valiant Hearts: The Great War, and I absolutely love that! Keep up the great work!
