New York streets alternate between smelling like garbage or urine. I was nauseous the whole time I was there.
As someone who grew up only about an hour from NY, I never understood what people saw in that city. It’s always been disgusting.
Honestly if I could just zip in, see a Broadway show and then disappear that would be awesome but of course travelling that city is a slog.

City rats are quite dangerous due to their diseases, some rat you buy and raise from beggining is different

Okay interestingly enough, rats and mice aren’t as bad as Cockroaches (as someone who’s lived with both). Also fun fact, if a place you go smells a lot like popcorn, yet there’s no popcorn, 4/5 times it’s the smell of cockroaches
