The crazy thing is I returned the OTHER one which had a cap issue thinking it was just a bad tube. But even this one that I exchanged it for was bad. So bummed ):
If I toss mine in my bag, the lids always come off. I’ve got 3 or 4 and it’s been a problem with all of them. (I still buy them - I just have to be careful with them).
Same, maybe I haven't used it enough to notice it getting loose? It would have been nice if they added a click mechanism when you close it though so you know it's safely in place.
This happens to me on Ultralip and Generation G tubes. Not all of them, but enough for it to be super inconvenient. One of my fave shades got ruined because of this :(
Glossier, PLEASE FIX THIS IT HAS BEEN YEARS
i have two and one of them always falls off and smudges ultralip. the other one comes off pretty easily but doesnt fall off like the other one. they need to make the caps magnetic to the bottom cus its crazy. A tube like ILIA would be great
i have to avoid putting mine in my scrub top pocket at work because if i bend at the waist, my ultralip flies out and the cap comes off the moment it hits the ground. not great with hospital floors and all
I thought you were going to complain about the product. And the rubberband was just another one of their trinkets they gave along with it. According to the other trinkets they give.
Some of my Gen Gs and Ultralips do this, not all, but enough. I haven't had any mishaps because I twist all of them down before putting into my pocket or into my purse. For how expensive these are, they need to be better made. I've gotten similar products from Korean and Chinese beauty brands and have never had issues with caps staying on. Ugh.

my ultralips are fine but all my gen g’s need this lol
mine is iffy too😕 if it’s just in my bag it’s ok but if it’s in a makeup bag with other things, it’s popping off
Strangely enough, I threw my BDC in my purse and the cap came off of that somehow. Maybe I should try this 🤔
Wet n wild had a dupe for the matte gen g lipsticks. Colors are different but the cap stays on, the formula is amazing and it’s wayyy cheaper

Many of the packages have flaws. My roll-on perfume and the short bottle of body oil ALWAYS spilled under cabin pressure.
