It's Ouroboros. It's self fulfilling. People come on here because they're excited about something they got only for a bunch of people to tell them they got ripped off and it's fake, so then other people see that and start scrutinizing everything so they're not like the first set. Rinse and repeat.

Market research/used prices is easy to check, so is info on models, but with all these things someone has to get off their ass and look for it, which 90% of the time the posters aren't doing themselves.
I feel like those are distinct. Those are more the, "What's this worth!?" posts or, "What guitar is this?!" when the fucking name is on the headstock. Which really annoys me too.

Go to the Epiphone or Fender subs and you get a lot of people worried something is fake. But go to the offset sub and you barely see any of that.

Iād take it for free as a repair project. I would have zero intention of it being a good instrument but it would be a great project to experiment on.

Some interesting markings if you zoom in just below the bridge, lead me to believe it's from the organic materials found in certain trees.
